Note: Since I am still confused by the official definition of a Time Management game, please take this post with a grain of salt because it's perfectly possible that I don't know what I'm talking about.
The game is free because it was developed for The Jingle Jam 2023 Charity and they plan on releasing DLC with part of the proceeds going toward the charities
Ummmm, Jo, Milo and the Christmas Gift looks cute, but seems too clever by half (or perhaps I'm just too dumb by 10 million and six). Surely (surely!!!) it did not expect me to figure out the order of Christmas lights to touch in Chapter 2 purely by chance?? That would take like 11*10*9*8 or more guesses (depending on length of string) to come up with. Clicking in other orders didnt hack it. Please tell me I just missed a clue somewhere that might have pointed me to the solution??? I looked at a couple walkthroughs, but they just "got the answer right" with no obvious clues. How would mere mortals have done it?? (P.S. And not knocking down the string didnt seem an option - I tried looking at the bottle each time I got the guy to fire off some fireworks, but that never revealed anything till the string was knocked down too). What did I miss?? Help!

Powers in the Basement is a 5/6 hours long point-and-click adventure game,
deliberately reminiscent of the great classics from the 80s / 90s,
with a specific sweet spot for LucasArts production.
t's a witty and sometimes surreal game, with clean humor,
also suitable for children, set in a pseudo-fantasy world in which the medieval fairytale
is punctuated by anachronisms, elements of modernity, and absurd references to nerd pop culture. It's a challenging game made for puzzle lovers, those who like to have a-ha moments in the shower
or while cooking, but we did our best to make it a fair and enjoyable experience for casual gamers as well.
If you are a longtime fan of this genre, well... we hope we can bring you back to your childhood for a while.
