I'm going to pass on this one. I just replayed it not that long ago and I still haven't finished Wallace and Gromit. Good luck and much fun to all who do play it!

just finished. Short game interesting story but I didn't find it extremely challenging. Still it was interesting enough to make me want to finish in a day and I enjoyed the antics of Patch and Chuck. I think they telegraphed the ending {Spoiler} They made Dr. Fletcher appear too menacing, should have given him a more benign mien

I got a surprise visit from the grandkiddos who wanted to see Nana walk on her UN-booted leg for the first time in 7 weeks (Clapping FOR ME)
Anywhoo, I am prolly about 1/2 way through the game, I just rode a giant sea turtle underwater and fired a torpedo from a submarine!
So far I'm digging this retro game which brings back so man fond memories of better HOPA days
LOVE the Journal, I sure do miss those days when a journal held clues and info!
The HOPs are pretty easy and cheesy BUT they still beat the HOs in most of the Domini (DO Games) today
I had to find a SHOOT CUP wtf is a shoot cup?
Unintentional Humor...I used a dime to place a call from a payphone Rolling Along

Ok, I confess, I am a total idiot! Steaming Mad
I was just about at the end of Through Andreas Eyes, thought I was on the verge of finishing up, and figured I'd come here to write that while it was a pleasant interlude, it was no where near the challenge of the earlier games we've played. And instead, I find myself at a total dead end and absolutely NO clue as to what to do next. Dont think any of this is a spoiler, so will just blurt it out:
I've found Andrea in the dream world, tied in a pink bubble, surrounded by little blue bubbles. Off in another room is a giant creeper & the Bogeyman. At an entrance with Patch is a boulder that when clicked indicates it "seems loose". I have in inventory Chuck, a crossbow, and the Dragon's bane sword. None work on Andreas' bubble, the boulder, the creeper, or the Bogeyman. I've completed the "memory" picture in the notebook, but it does not "come loose" from the page. Tried going back to the real world, but had no success getting unstuck. Giving up on figuring out what to do next, I started just hitting Hint continually....and it directed me out of the dream world & back to the clinic, where it points me only to Andrea's bedside & to click on the photo of Rupert & kids at the school, which merely plays the cutscene of the schoolbus and Andrea at home & the key being loosed in the treehouse. Dr. only says he'll watch Andrea while Mom checks home, but even if I take Mom home or to the school, there is nothing to do, I have nothing in inventory in the real world, and Hint continually sends me back to Andrea's bedside and the cutscene.
HELP!! What am I missing?? I've repeated my steps, pixel hunted for missing hotspots (though I'm running in casual mode so they tend to sparkle on their own), repeated trying to use my dreamland inventory on everything I can think of, closed the game & reopened it...rinse and repeat, multiple times. I'm playing the SE, if that has anything to do with things. Can someone put me back on the straight & narrow??

D-U-H! Hunted around on the BFG site and FINALLY found the answer. There was an artifact I neglected to pick up MANY, MANY screens ago. Went & got it, then had to visit a whole TON of scenes before I finally found a place to use it. Hopefully eventually this will bring me to success. Sheesh, you'd think Hint would have directed me back to the missing item somewhere along the line!

Ok, done....but never would have been without the old BFG forums. Wonder if BFG even realizes the great asset they gave up when they abandoned them? Sadly, suspect not. Guess it is a good thing so many of today's HOPAs are so mindless, 'cause players are probably mainly just pure out of luck (ah, see how nicely I cleaned up my language from the original "SOL" I started to write?) if they encounter problems in anything released since early 2018!

Played the game this weekend. Felt like such a piece of cake compared to the last few group play games. I had never purchased this one and my notes said it had a lot of tech issues but played just fine for me. It was great to be able to wander about the entire world and not just a few areas at a time. The problem I usually have with that though is I tend to do things out of order and have to back track to figure out my issue when stuck. Over all it was a fun, different game. Glad I played. Looking forward to the next group play.

lurkercat , I had the same issue, I finally looked at the map and went to the scene with the ! icon and realized I had several more scenes to go! I did skip the wire tracing puzzle, not because they are difficult puzzles but because the window with the wires was so small and the graphics weren't clear enough to follow the wires! The puzzle that was the most frustrating was towards the end getting the big box out. I'm usually pretty good at these but this particular one took me a while and I restarted it 3 times! It reminded me a bit of the Dreamscape games, it wasn't horrible, it just wasn't a blow my socks off kind of game but I'm glad I finished the game after all these years! I have decided to play or replay the following game/series, anyone interested in any of these games in between scheduled games?
Brink of Consciousness Curse of Briar Rose Diamon Jones Empress of the Deep Enlightenus Green Moon Hidden in Time Hallowed Legends Hide & Secret Millennium Secrets Mystery Legends Natural Threat Nick Chase Nightfall Phantasmat (original)...as suggested by Jo Princess Isabella Redrum Reincarnations Sacra Terra Samantha Swift Shaolin Mysteries Shattered Minds Shiver Silent Nights Silent Scream Snark Busters Sprill & Ritchie Steve the Sheriff The Clumsy's The Dark Hills of Cheri The Dreamatorium of Doctor Magnus The Jolly Gang The Scruffs The Treasures of Mystery Island Twisted Lands Unsolved Mystery Club

smitty189,
I went through my own HOPA Series List to find the ones I haven't played or hadn't finished before the next new HOPA came out (anyone remember those days?) and it turns out there are quite a few, and this doesn't even include the "one and done" HOPA games without a sequel!
A few on the list are games I truly loved but haven't played them since they were first released (the Princess Isabella Series, Sacra Terra Series, Brink of Consciousness: Dorian Grey Syndrome, Dark Parables: Curse of Briar Rose, Hallowed Legends Series, Mystery Legends Series, the original Phantasmat, Shiver Series, and the Empress of the Deep Series ...these are phenomenal games btw) all the others I either haven't played, haven't finished, or can't remember ever playing them.
I am going to run through the list and play them regardless, I just thought there might be other's who missed these older games too and might want to join me, they should be easy breezy compared to The Room and Wallace & Gromit :)
I forgot to list the Campfire Legends Series

Looking forward to the next group play. That's what I loved about the group play game Beyond the Invisible, none of the scenes were locked and all the way at the end of the game, we had to go back to the first scene to finish the last task!

lurkercat , I had the same issue, I finally looked at the map and went to the scene with the ! icon and realized I had several more scenes to go! Ah, pennmom, my problem was that the ONLY scene on the map that had a "!" was the bedside one, which had nothing to advance the story, and there was only 1 unvisited scene left (the doctor's office), which at the time I figured must be the CE bonus game (d-u-h) not realizing this game had no CE), and which I had no way of unlocking yet anyhow. Might not have been so baffling had I not put the game down for the night & by the next day had forgotten there was one unresolved issue from the other side of the dreamworld. Guess maybe the game "might" have told me of that if I'd collected the inventory item, but guess the "!"s only flag tasks, not items, and only those tasks for which you have the necessary inventory. Ah, and I only had to restart the big box puzzle once...but it did seem bit harder than the usual such one.

pennmom, I have also been replaying some great oldies. But, got lucky and discovered A bunch of Amaranthine Voyages that I never played and they're keeping me from withdrawal. I just wish BFG would realize that they could make a fortune by remastering Dire Grove

smitty189, I don't know why, but Amaranthine Voyage: The Orb of Purity was outsources to World-Loom Games. Maybe they were super swamped at the time because Eipix developed the 4 before and the 3 after? I don't think any of them were as good as the 1st one tho :)

pennmom ,I say "Let's do it!" Love the list and would be happy to group play some simple old HOPAs on the off weeks when there is time. I have played a couple on the list recently. I forgot about the Empress of the Deep series and really liked it. Think I will probably download it either way. I'll be a joiner whatever game is decided.
