I have to post a pic of one of my brothers' house this year. He goes a little overboard with help from his 7 year old grandson. Can't wait to see what he does with Christmas this year.

Okay, so now it's All Saints Day, November 1st. One of my favorite memories is being in Paris on All Saints Day. Church bells were ringing all over the city and it was amazing. I'm not in the least bit religious but I do like church architecture a lot. I was with my mother-in-law and we decided to tour all of the churches we could find including Notre-Dame and Saint-Étienne-du-Mont, a wonderful confection of architectural delights.
And it's also Día de los Muertos, a holiday I love because it has singing and dancing and hugging and great food. Being from the Detroit area, I grew up celebrating every reason for a party whether it's part of my cultural background or not. We observe Oktoberfest, the Chinese New Year, Cinco de Mayo and eat pączki to mark the start of Lent.
So here is a little short CGI film made by students at the Ringling College of Art and Design in Sarasota, Florida.
