Something On A Stick Day
No, we are not talking about mops or brooms (although we are very thankful for them, of course!) but Something On A Stick Day is all about celebrating foods we love to eat – that just happen to come on a stick!
Who doesn’t love relaxed finger food that you can pick up by the stick and eat? So whether it’s a toffee apple, camp-fire sausage, cheese cubes on a toothpick, ice cream bar, lollipop or other lovely treats, feel free to indulge in them on this day! Or why not try the favourite American food on a stick if you can – the famous corn dog?
What about planning an entire meal of a starter, main course and dessert all on sticks? Easy, informal, and fun – and very little cleaning up to do afterwards! What a great theme for a dinner party to have on Something on a Stick Day!
My favorite Simpson episode "If it has a toothpick, it's Free"

Weed Appreciation Day
Weeds are flowers too, once you get to know them. A. A. Milne Is there anything more aggravating then working in your garden and finding yet another sprouting of weeds after you thought you got them all? Seriously, weeds are just so incredibly annoying and you’re right to rip them out. Then afterwards you can sit on your porch and enjoy the dandelions that grow in your front yard, their bright yellow eyes turned to the sun. Weed Appreciation Day reminds you that those dandelions are weeds too, along with numerous other plants that you don’t mind growing in the yard.
History of Weed Appreciation Day Weed Appreciation Day was established to remind people that a weed is just a plant growing where you don’t want it to grow. Blackberries are fantastic when you find them growing wild in the forest, but are perhaps less desirable when you find them growing in the middle of your rhododendron bushes. That’s basically the details of what makes a weed a weed, and there are hundreds of ‘weeds’ that are incredibly important in health, science, and culinary uses. After all, dandelion wine isn’t just a pretty name!
There’s also chickweed, which believe it or not is actually quite tasty and packed with vitamins, but most people just rip them out and throw them in the compost bin or burn them. Chicory is often considered to be a weed as well, though it’s a pretty little plant with bright blue flowers, but it’s a hugely popular drink in the south, especially in Louisiana. Certainly it’s the roots, but still, weeds are weeds only if you don’t want them where you find them!
Weed Appreciation Day reminds you to get out there and really look at your yard, and find out if perhaps what you once thought of us as a weed, is actually a wonderful new surprise living in your lawn.

Mon Mar 29th, 2021 Niagara Falls Runs Dry Day
On March 29th, 1848, ice blockages caused rivers to run dry, and reduced the flow of water to such an extent that Niagara Falls’ 3,160 tons of water per second flow came to a halt. Locals celebrate with Niagara Falls Runs Dry Day, and with plenty of great hotels in the area, it’s not hard to come celebrate with them!

Mon Mar 29th, 2021 PayDay It Forward
When you think about it, nothing is stopping any of us from generating ripples of kindness that reach out across the world and the people around us. All of us could share words of affirmation with both the people we know and strangers to make the world a better place.
This is the concept behind PayDay It Forward. The idea is simple: you pay the kindness you’ve received throughout the year forward to our young men.
Everybody faces challenges in their lives, both big and small. PayDay It Forward is a reminder that we need to celebrate and honor the young men in our community. At the core of the day is the idea that everyone in the community should do something to make the lives of young men better. If we all got involved, the lives of the young men in our world might be much better.
PayDay It Forward is an opportunity for people to acknowledge and honor with young man that they encounter with kind gestures and words. The purpose is to validate their presence and existence with personal affirmation and praise.
History of PayDay It Forward PayDay It Forward began as a way to get communities to show kindness to their young men and honor them.
Many people want to share their goodwill with young men, but often don’t dare to do so. There’s an enormous amount of untapped kindness out there, and it’s a resource that could benefit society if people could utilize it. PayDay It Forward is an attempt to make that happen.

Mon Mar 29th, 2021 World Piano Day
"Life is like a piano. What you get out of it depends on how you play it." Tom Lehrer
If you’re a fan of classical music, then you assuredly know about the famous piano. Used in concerts everywhere, the piano has a long history of bringing music to life with its delicate sound and beautiful resonance. But did you know that there’s a holiday dedicated to pianos? That’s right, there’s a day all about the history and love for pianos. Read more to learn about the history of the piano and about how you can celebrate this amazing holiday.
Learn about World Piano Day World Piano Day has been designed to celebrate this incredible instrument, which has brought many of us joy over the years. No matter whether you play the piano yourself or you have an appreciation for this sort of music, we can all appreciate that listening to a quality pianist is a joy.
If you don’t know much about the piano, today is a great day to explore further. The main thing you obviously need to familiarise yourself with is the keys. After all, the keyboard is the most important part of your learning. If you look at the keyboard, you will see white and black keys that run from left to white. They do not alternative white-black-white-black. There is actually a pattern that is made of five black keys and seven white keys in a certain order. An interval is formed from the beginning of one set of keys and the ending, which is at the beginning of the next set. This is called an ‘octave’, which is simply a type of interval; an interval being the musical distance between two sounds.
In addition to this, it is important to note that the highest keys are on the right and the lowest on the left. If you start on the left side, every key is a half step higher than the one before it. Therefore, you need to go up or down two half steps to make a full step. You simply need to practice a bit to get to grips with these intervals. You should then try other intervals so you can hear the difference in sound.
History of Piano Day The invention of the piano began through its predecessors, mainly through medieval times as a dulcimer, a fretted string instrument with three or four strings attached. From there it developed into the clavichord, the spinet, virginal, clavecin, gravicembalo, and finally, the harpsichord in the 15th century.
The harpsichord was invented by Bartolomeo di Francesco Cristofori and the harpsichord is considered to be to the closest predecessor to what modern-day people know as the piano because of the keyboards that activated the strings. From there, the harpsichord developed further over the next 300 years into what we know as the modern piano.
Piano Day began as an idea by the German pianist/composer/producer Nils Frahm. Nils Frahm composes classical piano music with electronic music, reforming piano music with an unconventional approach. He launched the holiday back in 2015. When Frahm was asked why the world needs a Piano Day, Frahm replied back “…mostly, because it doesn’t hurt to celebrate the piano and everything around it: performers, composers, piano builders, tuners, movers and most important, the listener.”
Since then, the holiday expanded as people held concerts, recitals, lectures, and demonstrations. An official website, Pianoday.org, lists all the concerts and events you can go to all over the world to help celebrate the beauty of the piano.

Mon Mar 29th, 2021 Smoke and Mirrors Day
Deceit! Deception! Illusion!
Celebrate these and all other types of trickery with Smoke And Mirrors Day, a festive time dedicated to the art of fraudulent cunning.
The phrase, “it’s all smoke and mirrors” refers to the way in which magicians use all manner of distraction to make sure the audience fails to see what’s really going on. The more complex the artifice, the more successfully the magician will get away with it!
One of the really fun things about magicians is that some of what they do is sleight of hand, while other parts of their work are based simply on science and mathematics. No matter the case, it’s all about making sure what happens is hidden from the viewer.
Although in a rather different context, another interesting example of smoke and mirrors is ‘legalese’. This constitutes that incredibly convoluted language that attorneys and other legal professionals use to make sure that no-one else understands what’s happening. Politicians have been known to try that sort of thing as well.
But Smoke and Mirrors Day is more about magic and illusion!
History of Smoke and Mirrors Day The magical arts, while developed over time, have been around for thousands of years. Evidenced by cave drawings from Ancient Egypt that depict performance of the still-used “cups and balls” trick, the history of illusionist tricks can be traced through the Greeks and Romans, through the Dark Ages, and eventually into the 18th century where magic developed rapidly as it moved from a circus sideshow to its own stage.
In comparison to this history, the term “Smoke and Mirrors” is fairly new, having been used for only two centuries or so. First documented in 1770 when used by German charlatan and Mason Johann Georg Schröpfer, this trick of illusion used the obvious and expected tools: smoke and mirrors.
In addition, a hidden projector (originally called a “magic lantern”) was typically involved in the trick, as light shining in just the right place bounced off of the mirrors through the smoke, creating a fantastical form. In the case of Schröpfer, the illusionist was trying to fool the audience into believing that they were seeing conjured “spirits”.
The trick caught on from there and was used in a variety of ways to fool people for various reasons. Today, the term smoke-and-mirrors can be applied to almost anything that turns out to be a fraud or a misrepresentation of what is actually happening.
And it has developed into a day that is used to celebrate the very trickery and cleverness of magic.

Doctors’ Day
It’s easy to forget just how important, valuable and necessary good doctors are – that is until you get ill or sustain an injury. Doctors Day puts hard-working doctors in the spotlight, and encourages us to be considerate of the long hours they work, their compassion, and the effort they put into practicing medicine.
Learn about Doctors’ Day All around the world, Doctors’ Day is celebrated, as we all recognize the contributions that physicians make in the community and to individual lives. Some countries will celebrate Doctors’ Day on a different date, yet all nations make sure that those in the healthcare sector are appreciated. We think that it is only right that these people are celebrated! After all, just imagine how life would be if there weren’t any doctors in the world!
There is no denying that healthcare is one of the most pivotal industries in the world. Jobs in this field are also getting more and more advanced and complicated. Progressions are being made in medicine all of the time, with doctors having more information and tools at their fingertips than ever before. It can be an overwhelming job, to say the least. They have to diagnose different conditions and treat a wide range of people on a daily basis. The outcome is not always good, and this can be difficult to deal with. It is hard to imagine what doctors go through on a day-to-day basis. Plus, they’re always available for us. Unfortunately, illnesses and injuries don’t wait for a convenient time to strick; they can happen at any time and on any day, and that’s why it is so important that we always have doctors to rely on when we’re not feeling like our usual selves.
History of Doctors’ Day The first time that Doctors’ Day was observed in the United States took place on the 30th of March back in 1933. This event was in Georgia’s Winder area. Eudora Brown Almond, who was married to Dr. Charles B Almond, thought that there should be a day to honor physicians. On this date, flowers were placed on the graves of doctors that had passed away. Because of this, red carnations are widely viewed as the symbolic flower for this day.
Since this date, there have been a number of other significant moments in history as well. For example, did you know that the first ether anesthetic was used for surgery on the 30th of March as well? This took place in 1842 and it was administered by Crawford W. Long, M.D. Before an operation was carried out on a man’s neck to remove a tumor, anesthesia was administered. After the surgery, the man said that he was not able to feel anything during the procedure and that he was not aware of anything that had happened until he had woken up. It is crazy to think about a day whereby people didn’t have anaesthesia before going under the knife, isn’t it? We’re certainly thankful for the progressions in healthcare!

Tue Mar 30th, 2021 Take A Walk In The Park Day
When cities are being designed one of the primary things they ensure to make space for is city parks. From small parks the size of just a couple of blocks to large ones that cover acres of land, city planners know the importance of providing green areas for people to go.
Take A Walk In The Park Day celebrates these small excursions and the differences they can make to our mental, physical, and emotional health.
History of Take A Walk In The Park Day This day was founded to help people reconnect with the wilder spaces within our civilized world. Thousands of people all over the country walk in local parks, exploring the wildlife and beauty of the natural world around them.
During these walks many opt to bring cameras so they can take pictures of the beauty they find, others opt to bring a book and enjoy the peace of the natural space. Jogging, playing games, drawing pictures from nature, all of these are things people do when they go out and enjoy time in the park.
Getting out into nature has been proven to have a number of therapeutic effects on those who take the time to do it. Their stress levels go down, their heart and mind feel refreshed, their creativity gets inspired, and they become more productive at work. All of this doesn’t even include the physical health benefits they get from walking in the park.
Keeping our bodies in motion and remaining active are important parts of our long term health. Daily walks help keep joints healthy, our muscles limber, and our hearts beating steadily. Every day you walk walking gets to be just a little bit easier and you’ll find yourself less tired than the day before. Take A Walk In The Park Day encourages you to get out and do that, every day of the year.

Tue Mar 30th, 2021 Pencil Day
With so many types of pens, from the everyday biro to the decadent fountain and the multipurpose Sharpie, the humble pencil is often overlooked. That’s why Pencil Day is here to remind us just how amazing a stick of graphite encased in a tube of wood can be.
Sketching in pencil is an incredibly expressive, therapeutic and fun activity. Whether you’re an experienced illustrator or think you don’t have a single creative bone in your body, take five minutes to have a quick doodling session and see where your imagination takes you. With a pencil you can remove your mistake with an eraser, or simply rub it with your thumb to create a shaded area or interesting effect. Then when you’re done, there are few things more satisfying than placing the pencil behind your ear and parading around like a fifties New York journalist (make sure to roll up your sleeves too).

Tue Mar 30th, 2021 World TB-303 Appreciation Day
TB-303 may sound like an R2-D2 star wars android, but in fact, it exists as the original sound of techno music and acid house genres since the ’80s. As the first pattern-based sequencer to exist, this piece of technology created the resonance, tempo, and cut-off that many today recognize with techno music in today’s dance clubs.
World TB-303 Appreciation Day lets people celebrate the history of this popular instrument and celebrates its uses in modern music.
History of TB-303 Appreciation Day The TB-303 is a bassline synthesizer first manufactured by the Roland Corporation in 1982. The company has only been ten years old at the time and the 303 only lasted over a year, selling only 10,000 303’s.
The TB-303 originally was intended to be a companion for solo guitarists, but at the time, it didn’t take off because of its lack of popularity. Later on down the road, however, artists began seeing the potential for the technology, with the track ‘Les Problemes d’Amour’ by Alexander Robotnik becoming a huge hit in 1983.
The alterations made through tuning the frequency created complex, trippy bass pitches, which artists such as DJ Pierre, Spanky, and Herb Jackson discovered and utilized in their music.
Throughout the ’90s, artists challenged the sound that the TB-303 by adding rougher, edges to their compositions to create spacier sounds and ultimately form the type of techno music known as Acid House.
Today, the original 303’s now sells for over £1000. Roland continues to release and reimagine their technology, releasing the TB-3 Touch Bassline synthesizer in 2014. The 303 became stable for DJ’s all over the world, allowing for easy travel and making high demand for the 303 surging in the electronic dance scene.
World TB-303 Appreciation Day celebrates its long history and shows how the TB-303 innovated the sound and transformation of techno music.

Wed Mar 31st, 2021 Manatee Appreciation Day
Manatees are aquatic mammals known for their immense size and jowly appearance. Manatees might not make the list of cutest animals, but enough manatee enthusiasts exist for there to be a Manatee Appreciation Day.
Manatee Appreciation Day is devoted to raising awareness about these quirky creatures. Unfortunately, manatees are endangered. Although hunting manatees is usually illegal, they continue to be poached for their meat and hide.
Also, manatees are often fatally injured in collisions with boats. It is important to increase manatee awareness so that these fascinating animals will continue to exist in the future.
Manatee Appreciation Day events usually take place in areas with large manatee populations, such as Florida, Mexico, and the Caribbean. Zoos and marine biology centers may offer special manatee-related programming on Manatee Appreciation Day.
You can celebrate Manatee Appreciation Day anywhere by researching manatees, starting your own awareness campaign, or donating to manatee conservation programs.

Wed Mar 31st, 2021 Crayola Crayon DayRed, Orange, Yellow, Green, Blue, Indigo, Violet…no, this isn’t just a list of all of the colors of the rainbow, but rather just a few of the more than 400 different shades of crayon colors that Crayola has produced since its humble beginnings in Pennsylvania in 1903!
What a perfect opportunity to celebrate the bright and colorful addition these simple wax sticks have made to the world with Crayola Crayon Day!
History of Crayola Crayon Day Crayola began its life as a company in 1885 when cousins Edwin Binney and C. Harold Smith took over a pigment business that Edwin’s father had previously owned. By 1903, the cousins had created a set of colorful drawing sticks for young artists by combining paraffin wax with non-toxic, kid-friendly pigments. While children had often used chalk or paints for drawing, those were both messy. Crayola came up with their brilliant solution–and it has lasted for more than a century!
The name Crayola seems to have come from a combination of two words created by the founder’s wife. It combined craie, which was French for “chalk” and oily, to create the company’s brand name.
The first set only contained 8 crayons, but now the boxes have gotten much larger with many more colors. Since the beginning, the company has developed a core set of 120 crayon colors; but they have also come out with many unique sets. This includes metallic colored crayons, gem tones colors, and even scented ones. One important development made by the company was a box of skin tones that make it possible to color pictures of humans of almost any cultural background.
Over time, the colors have changed, and the names have become more creative. Some of the most interesting Crayola crayon names include:
Fuzzy Wuzzy Brown Robin’s Egg Blue Tropical Rain Forest (blue-green) Macaroni and Cheese (yellow-orange) Razzle Dazzle Rose Purple Mountains Majesty Tickle Me Pink Granny Smith Apple (medium green)
In the more than 100 years since the company began making them, more than 50 colors have been retired.
Today, the company makes about 12 million crayons every single day. Obviously, children (and kids-at-heart) all over the world enjoy and appreciate the artistic ability that is afforded them by the use of Crayola crayons.
And that’s a great reason to celebrate Crayola Crayon Day!

Wed Mar 31st, 2021 World Backup Day
Have you backed up your data recently? Every day people, businesses, even games lose huge amounts of valuable data because they fail to follow this one basic procedure. World Backup Day is set aside as a reminder to back up your files, even if it’s once a year! A backup is a reserve copy of all the files you’d be loathe to use. There’s nothing more traumatizing than having losing your phone, or having your hard drive crash, and having hundreds of valuable and irreplaceable documents or photos suddenly gone beyond retrieval.
No matter how secure or safe you feel your data and equipment is, it’s important to back up your files. 30% of people don’t have any way to save their important files in the event that tragedy strikes. In our electronic based world, there are hundreds of ways to suddenly have things go terribly awry. 29% of all disasters are caused by accidents, costing valuable time and money as the resources they affected are lost forever. You may feel your computer is safe, but 1 in 10 of all computers, including household and business computers, are infected with a virus that may suddenly cause all of your data to be gone beyond retrieval.
“But my phone is always on me!” I hear you say! Wonderful! That’ll make it easier for you to be one of the 113 phones stolen every minute, each day. In this modern digital world, many of us live from our phones. Whether it’s for business, or just personal use, these electronic assistants often contain gigs of valuable documents, pictures, videos, and music. Do you really want to chance losing all of that when backup options are so easy and available?
“Easy? How do I backup my files and protect myself?” There ya go! Now we’re asking the right questions! There are a myriad of ways you can use to backup your files, most phones are connected to some form of backup system. iPhones are tied directly into iTunes, which can back up all of your valuable data, you just need to hook that thing up to your computer and update the files daily! You can even do it as part of charging, just plug it in to your computer, set it to backup, and it’ll go about the process automatically while it takes a charge.
Android phones are intrinsically tied to Google, and with the availability of Google Docs and the Google backup, it’ll tie all of your data in to your profile, uploading it to a secure location while allowing you to choose which ones to share! Google Docs can also be used to store all of your valuable files online! The bonus here is that from google docs you can access your files from any computer, saving you from having to wait for your system to be back up before you get those important files back!
Another option is open that is the ‘all inclusive’ option. If you’d prefer to back up everything instead of just bits and pieces, there are tons of places online that will give you reviews of dozens of options for full backup services. Take some time to cruise through them and decide which one is right for you. Remember, if the only copy you have of your important files is all in one place, it only takes one accident, one small disaster for you to lose them all. So take the time to backup your files, and stop yourself from becoming one of this year’s April’s Fools.

Wed Mar 31st, 2021 Eiffel Tower Day
Eiffel Tower Day is a holiday that is all about celebrating the wonderful monument that stands proudly in the city of lights. The day marks the completion of the Eiffel Tower in 1889, taking 2 years, 2 months and 5 days in total to build.
It was constructed for the International Exhibition of Paris, during the 100th anniversary of the French Revolution, and was named after the principal engineer, Gustave Eiffel. Celebrate this iconic day by planning a trip to the historic landmark and have a bite at the Le 58 Tour Eiffel Restaurant. For people who are anywhere else in the world, there are plenty of ways to celebrate.
Wear clothes or jewelry that feature the Eiffel Tower, bake a scrumptious Eiffel Tower cake and invite friends and to admire and enjoy it, or throw a picnic party with French flags and treats to get everyone in the spirit of the day.

Wed Mar 31st, 2021 Bunsen Burner Day
First I would like to wash Bunsen, and then I would like to kiss him because he is such a charming man. Emil Fischer
There’s an image we all have of a laboratory, the white coat, the safety glasses, the gleaming glass beaker held over a spear of blue-flame coming up from that burner that seems to be ubiquitous to every chemistry lab ever. That burner is far more important than its roaring blue flame may make it seem, it’s the Bunsen Burner, invented by Robert Bunsen, and Bunsen Burner Day celebrates its history, its creation, and the man who invented it.
History of Bunsen Burner Day The Bunsen Burner was invented in 1854, out of the need for a cleaner, hotter flame that could be used in laboratory experiments. In 1852 the University of Heidelberg had hired Robert Bunsen, and promised to build him a brand new laboratory building, complete with the newest technological marvel, coal-gas streetlights and lighting that the city itself had just begun to install. The current burners used in chemistry labs were simply not sufficient to the task at hand, leaving the beakers soot smeared and lacking the necessary heat (and control of the same) for many experiments. They were also expensive to operate and were unnecessarily complicated.
So it was that Robert Bunsen got together with Peter Desaga with some principles that he believed a new burner should be built on. Peter Desaga promptly set about applying those principles to a new design for a laboratory burner, and successfully created a device that would generate a hot, sootless flame that had the additional benefit of not producing little to no additional light in its burning. So it was that the Bunsen Burner was born, and so successful was it at accomplishing it’s designed purpose, that laboratories the world over have used them ever since.

Wed Mar 31st, 2021 Cream Cheese Frosting Day
Whether for a carrot cake or spice cake, red velvet cake or cinnamon rolls, cream cheese frosting is a smooth, tasty topping for some of the yummiest cakes and sweet treats on the planet. On the other hand, some people are happy to simply eat it directly from the spoon!
Cream Cheese Frosting is a delectable spread that can turn a dry, ho-hum cake into a wonder of flavorful deliciousness. And Cream Cheese Frosting Day is the ideal day to enjoy it.
History of Cream Cheese Frosting Day Cream Cheese was invented in America in the 1870s by a New York dairyman, William Lawrence. And the whole thing was actually created by accident. Lawrence was trying to make a French cheese, Neufchâtel, but it turned out slightly softer due to less fat and higher content of moisture. So he went with it!
Early on, cream cheese was a bit of a delicacy, a rather expensive one, that would often be served in special restaurants in New York City. Then Lawrence began to sell it in foil wrappers and came up with the name brand, Philadelphia, which eventually became popular throughout the entire world.
However, it wasn’t for almost a century that cream cheese frosting began to become popular in the United States as a variation on buttercream frosting. In the 1960s, when cream cheese became more readily available in supermarkets, people began adding it as part of the recipe.
A few years ago, Arla, a leader in clean label cream cheese, decided to start the celebration of their main ingredient in this beloved dessert topping. And so, Cream Cheese Frosting Day was created to pay respects to this sweet, smooth topping that is absolutely delicious all throughout the year.

Thu Apr 1st, 2021 Tell A Lie Day
There are times in our life when we really wish that whole ‘being honest’ thing wasn’t so prevalent. Well, on Tell a Lie Day, you get a free pass! Dishonesty is an art form that is prevalent in every day of our lives, from the media selling us their version of events to your kids telling you the dog broke the lamp. This is a day to let all of that have a pass.
Celebrating Tell a Lie Day doesn’t have to be about breaking societal taboos, instead, you can have a lot of fun with it. You can spend the day asking your friends and questions, and seeing who can come up with the most believable or outrageous lie. There is innate creativity required to tell a truly believable and fantastic lie.
It is inherent in the creation of stories that we lie, and this is a day to tell as many whoppers as you can get out. Tell stories about the days of your youth, where you accomplished fantastic deeds with amazing grace, and got away with all the things you really got caught at.
This entire day will remind us that there is a danger to lying constantly, this is the day where you will not be able to trust anything anyone else can say, and that is the danger of a lifetime of duplicity.
While we tend to believe that most people are honest more often than not, there have been extensive studies telling us that the average person tells several lies a day.
This is the day to reflect on that and ask yourself some important questions. What’s the worst lie you ever told, have you falsified your resume to increase your chances to get a job? These are all moments where we tell small lies to big ones to get through the day.
Another thing you can watch out for and learn is the signals that the people in your lives throw off when they’re telling a lie. This can be useful for the rest of the year when they’re trying to hide things from you. Everyone has them, and they are in fact fundamental in such games like poker, where hiding the tells that reveal what’s actually in your hand are important.
When it comes to telling lies, there are two types of psychological conditions that can lead to lying to those around you. These two types are the sociopath and the compulsive liar, and the differences are pretty profound.
A sociopath is someone who has a target in mind, and their lies are always focused on getting their way, no matter the cost to others. They are notoriously charismatic and self-centered, but it’s difficult to tell their negative sides, they’re just that good.
Compulsive liars are another breed entirely, having developed a habit of lying as surely addictive as cigarette smoking. At first, it may be done just to protect themselves from things they’ve done, but as time goes by they start building a habit out of this.
Eventually, it becomes impossible for them to stop, the truth actually becomes incredibly difficult for them to tell, and even when it’s something they have no need to lie about. Unlike their sociopath counterparts, they are neither charismatic nor cunning, they merely are incapable of telling the truth.
So on this day, take the opportunity to tell a little falsehood, and spread a little creativity around. Tell a Lie Day comes but once a year, but don’t worry, Honesty Day comes a little later in the month. That’s the one to be afraid of.
