Tip for all levels if you are trying to get 3 stars:
Sometimes you have to build a market or a sawmill, use it to get needed resources to overcome an obstacle, then turn around and destroy it so that you can build something else (usually a cabin/cottage/etc.) in it's place. It pays to make sure you know exactly what things are needed to complete the level... ie. if it says you need 3 houses of any type, then build the smallest building required (cabin instead of a cottage) unless you need the more expensive one to generate coins.

Tip for level 25: Mountain Valley
Demolish the 4 fountains to get resources to proceed with the rest of the level.

Are we doing the expert mode as well? (After completing all the levels with 3 stars, a portal opens, and the game starts again, only with less time for the levels)

moni, I have the CE...and there are extra challenge levels for when I have completed the game...are they just the same levels on this one with less time or are they different? I get them all mixed up..I know that is the case in others..and you go into the swirling ocean to do the 'expert'levels..had an inkling the 'challenge' levels in this one were in fact 'new' levels? But I will get there Is that on the SE version you are getting 'expert' levels??? Got me intrigued now..as I have never owned the SE..

joybelle, Yes, I have the SE version, and there is a re-run in expert mode after I've completed the normal mode with all 3 stars. Actually, I didn't know, that Royal Envoy 2 had a CE version... lol. Is the CE version has extra levels, though? If yes, I may would consider to buy that, too. I love Royal Envoy games, replaying them pretty often.

moni, when I get to the end...I will let you know..I am pretty sure its actually new levels unseen on the CE...and that's the difference..they call them challenge...but could be totally wrong..cant see they would have exactly the same for the CE and the SE. Cheers Mate

joybelle, Never mind, dear! I found the answer; there are extra 30 levels or so to the CE version. I bought it, here I come again...
The expert mode does open in the SE version, as well, though, after completing the game with all 3 stars. Do we play them again, together, or it remains a personal preference?

Yes moni , I copied this from the BFG review section Royal Envoy 2 stays true to that successful action. There are 63 levels with the optional challenge to get 3 stars in each, which, if met, will unlock these same levels in "expert" mode for a total of 126 challenges! And you get the 30 additional levels as part of the CE offering. I thought they were..just couldn't remember. Some of mine have opened up..and they are not levels in the first part of the game. I am not sure that all the players have the CE addition..so it may be just the SE levels we play together..I will check with pennmom , to be fair. Royal Envoy 3 CE ...has four extra islands than the SE. Number one has 30 extra bonus levels too. (but also the first and last time you will see those dang tax collectors ) And by the time you get to number 3 you dont have to click on your resources anymore...just mouse over them! Either way its just such good value the CE's eh!!! The sad part is that you can no longer buy Campaign for the Crown at BFG...they dropped it. I guess you can buy it elswhere though? .. But I did see amazon has removed it also?? Lucky for me I bought it at the time and have it in my PHistory with BFG...and it works fine. Phew. ** It seems Campaign for the Crown became a free online game...but not sure how safe the sites are.

joybelle, I have all the Royal Envoy Games, long time favorites, played them not once (not twice). My question is the same though, as far as the group play goes, do we play the expert round together, too, or just the first round around? Cheers Mate

It has been bought to my attention that R.E 2 does NOT have a relaxed option. It only became available in No.3. (and the ability to just mouse over the resources instead of clicking them.).. Sorry for any one who is struggling with the timer as I think I said there was a relax..apologies. :-*

The CE version 30 Bonus Levels, Making Of, Intro Movie, 11 Music, 8 Wallpapers, 63 Achievements, and a Walkthrough
why do they only let you create a profile with 10 letters in most games? Do you have any idea how creative I can get with a profile name that's longer?

I am struggling, must be getting old and now my timer runs out all the time, arrgh. Not as quick as I used to be Re Campaign for the Crown it is a shame it has been withdrawn. I thought it was still on Gamehouse as it comes up on their lists but when you click on it it says no longer available, why not just remove it ?

Do you, guys want hints and tips for the harder levels? I'm happy to oblige, but I don't want to clutter up here, unless you want me to. :)

Day 3 still at level 17. Guess I'm just an old plodder. Managing to get 2 stars on most levels but had to replay some lol . It's fun though so I'll just keep plodding along. I know I'll blame it on my mouse

smitty189 , you are a champ!! That's actually fantastic for a new TM player!! Because we know you are playing timed and I think you have gotten really into it if you are getting two stars! I am a very seasoned player and having to repeat myself sometimes What I do love is that you have hung in there and are obviously getting the gist of how it all works, and most TM's work on those principles..build, produce, demolish, and whilst not this one..gather from the road and trade resources... . So once you get how they work, you can play any of them. WELL DONE!!

Have you watched the video walkthroughs that are on the net galaxy ,?...they show you how to do it. And if moni , is happy enough to do a walkthrough..that would be great..but they are on the net too (verbal step by step).. Let us know exactly which level you are on..and what the specific probs are...like (not enough wood)..or (I cant get enough gold)..or (I dont know what houses to build) ..etc Then we can say..'oh just build cabins''...or tell you when to demolish something. Good on you too CHAMP as WELL for hanging in there!! ..You and smitty189 , deserve a round of applause..as this is quite a game to begin your TM journey on..its quite complicated. WELL DONE YOU TOO!! Cheesing

Foothills Level 9
1. Light the right post first, send 2 workers to the Forestry right away
2. Continue to light the posts on the right 3. Clear the fallen trees 4. In the mean time start to light the post to the left 5. Immediately demolish the sawmill - you won't need it, and build a market, buy food right away
6. In the mean time continue lighting posts and clearing fallen trees 7. As soon as you have your food demolish the Cabin on the right side. 8. At this point, if you overwhelmed ignore the money, the goal is only 5 cottages
9. Then just build up the empty spaces with cottages
galaxy, I also found this video on youtube, I don't fully agree with it, I wouldn't buy wood from the sawmill, it is completely unnecessary, but if you clicking fast enough, you can follow that one, too...
