Oh you mean the flouro green highlight...yes its really good!...I can see it on the polls that have been done. I cant see anything on the page after your question though pennmom ...did you post a poll ... or just the question?? Nice work pennmom She wouldn't be able to post a poll in this thread - it's mine. sticking to holidays, moni , - what's your favourite means of transport for holidays? EDIT: I tried to add a poll, but it did not appear... Please, read my summary about how it works, 2 posts above Sniffing Flower You cannot post a poll in someone else thread, you need to create your own thread, then you can add as many as you like. The poll appeared for me, and I voted. It's a nice chartreuse green, much better than that eye-hurting red. BTW... I think people are using some sort of smileys and they're only coming through as words for me. Take a look: I don't see whatever image should be there for "Missed My Beer". At times it looks hilarious to see this stuff written out in words - lots of cheese, flowers, beer, bears... but other times it makes the conversation really hard to figure out. I guess I don't use the same forum theme as the rest of you... I can't even see the animal icons under my name (the official ones, not the ones I bought; I see my birds just fine). The "foot pole" in my poll should have been "10-foot pole." But the poll won't accept either Arabic numerals or punctuation. This is a serious bug, and very inconvenient if we have to spell out numbers and can't have any punctuation. EDIT: Counting votes is more useful than percentages. Obviously this feature can't figure out percentages since it gave the "foot pole" option 2200% of the vote even though I was the only one who had voted at that point and it was one of 5 allowed votes. It should only have been 20%. Maybe the feature will have better luck with Grade 1 arithmetic.

Valkara, try clearing your browsing history. If you have trouble seeing images, refresh the page and see if it shows up, or check it out on another browser to see if it's an incompatibility issue (do you have images blocked on your anti-virus?)

Images are not blocked. I am using ABP+uBlock (because I really hate ads, especially on YouTube).
This is a problem with some of the themes here, as I see these images on some of the themes I'm not using. I need a theme that's easy to read, but the one I chose doesn't seem to allow the smiley images or the images under our names. It results in some bizarre sentences, especially in the Shout Box ("Welcome to the 'Bear Face Family'" - sounds like someone being welcomed into a family of people who are part human, part bear!).
Refreshing doesn't help.
This is a problem on many types of forums, where some themes work and some don't. The theme I use on the Civilization Fanatics forum renders some parts of it unreadable unless it's highlighted, but that happens to be the theme that is otherwise easiest on my eyes. A forum I belonged to years ago had problems with some themes. The admin tweaked the CSS for some of those, and just gave up on others as too much of a bother. That was a Simple Machines forum (CivFanatics is XenForo).
The types of forums I'm most familiar with are Invision and vBulletin (back when I belonged to a slew of InvisionFree forums, one of the forum owners told our bunch of newly-promoted moderators to make an account on the support forum, read the documentation, follow the discussions, and learn how the ACP - what I call the guts - work; I'm the only one who took him seriously, eventually learning how to skin forums, and therefore was the one the owner eventually promoted to a senior admin position).

Version 4 update and I changed it to counting votes versus % yea or nay? I LOVE the tweak! Much easier to assess the results. Thanks! Beating Heart
