How about TSIOQUE?
Adorable, funny, crisp graphics, great (did I mention funny?) story. Now on sale for $6.27 on Steam till July 7, and there is a demo available to try it out.

Agent A: A puzzle in disguise
This one has a "film noir" feel to it, even if it is in color and graphically cartoonish. It is a detective story and who doesn't like a good James Bond mystery? It's on sale till July 7 on Steam for $1.99 and there is a demo available to try it before you buy it.

Ceville
So I cannot say much about this game, besides that it looks funny, it is point and click adventure and has very positive reviews on Steam. Also, it costs $0.51 (that's right; half a dollar) till July 7. There is no demo to this game, but it's practically free right now.

Enigmatis 2: The Mists of Ravenwood
Good 'ol HOPA game with overwhelmingly positive reviews on Steam for $2.49 till July 7. Enigmatis 1, 2, 3 are available as a bundle sale, too for further discount. All 3 games have very positive ratings and the whole bundle costs only $5.37 during the Summer sale.

I would be happy to play any one of these. A couple I already own but the rest I'll purchase with the sale to play myself if they don't make it in the group play. They all have my vote.

I couldn't resist, sorry. I know I've been posting this game allover the place, so maybe one more time. This is a classic adventure game in the same neighborhood with Syberia and The Longest Journey. Breathtaking graphics, extremely heart-touching story, fiendish puzzles. The game play is extensively long (for me it was). The price of this beautiful grandma of adventure games is 99 cents (always, since it's the regular price) and I would love to play this game together with other players.

It looks like we will need to make our schedule soon so I would like to suggest the Tower of Beatrice be added.

The game Journey to the Center of Earth has some very bad reviews. While we all know that that bad reviews are not really reliable, these reviews are complaining about buggy game mechanics, removed puzzles and (with exception of the captivating story) being a totally unenjoyable game.
Did anybody has played this game before? I don't want to buy it until I get some "assurance".

Not Recommended 6.1 hrs on record POSTED: SEPTEMBER 8, 2021 This point n' click is atrocious in every way possible, with its captivating storyline being the only thing preventing this game from being a total waste of your time. And even then it'll only be of some value to the most hardcore point n' click lovers. Whatever game design flaw one could imagine, this game has it. There's so many I've lost count: unskippable snail-speed terrain traversal which wastes your time, non-sensical puzzles, pathetic graphical glitches, counter-intuitive and inconsistent UI, horrible pixel-hunting, broken game triggers, deadpan voice acting and so on and on and on. Seems like Frogwares decided to give this game to a group of interns with no prior game-development experience and then forgot about it. Truth be told if they had done any testing at all they would've seen what a horrible unplayable mess it was. The movement system is so broken you may get stuck countless times simply because the girl won't move when you click, or the click won't register, or the microscopic hotspot that leads out of a scene will magically disappear, or lots of other reasons. Anything could happen, but trying to play this the conclusion is always the same: it's a broken-a$$ game which barely functions and leaves the player longing for almost every other 2.5D point n' click from the same golden era. This is far from gold.

Recommended 6.1 hrs on record POSTED: APRIL 19 Journey to the Center of the Earth is an epic adventure game, in which a journalist, after some unfortunate events, fall into the center of the world. The main objective of this game is to try to get back to the surface, and consequently, publishing this amazing adventure. However, what she did not expect is that she will be used in a conspiracy of some people that wants to make war with the surface. With a point-and-click system and gorgeous locations, this game has a nice plot and some good use of the items. Moreover, since I played the Steam version, I got an unfortunate surprise: most puzzles of the original game is not present in this version. So you gain certain items necessary to solve its puzzles, you can clearly see that there is some locations that have puzzles, but you do not have to solve them. This is a huge let down for all point-and-click and puzzle lovers. What is more shameful is that the puzzles seemed nice. Well, excluding this negative point, it is a decent game.

Rhiannon: Curse of the Four Branches is still available at Big Fish and has a demo.
I ran into a bug in the BF version and couldn't finish the game. It was addressed in the BF game forums and only affected some players. The Steam version worked just fine for me. The demo from BF, as far as I know, works perfectly. It is a very good game.

Just a heads-up on Botanicula in case others share some of my prejudice against timed arcade-type games. Seemed likely an ok game till I hit these comments in one of the Steam reviews:
From oldladygreybun: ....A couple of the minigames in the first chapters are arcadish and timed, but most aren't. For someone like myself who has slow reflexes, gnarly hands, and very simple gear - I found that up to the last chapter there were altogether a handful of minigames I had some trouble with, and one in particular that was very tightly timed where you're being chased in a labyrinth and which I found very frustrating. ....in the end of the last chapter.....In this final section there is also some quite difficult arcade-type gameplay requiring fast and precise clicking to get through. I am very very bad at arcade, and would never have managed this section just with my standard non-gaming mouse. Had to switch to pad mode and use touchscreen to get through it.The reviewer did wind up recommending the game and did like the game overall, in spite of the above, but it gives me pause, particularly since I'm on the verge of abandoning The Book of Unwritten Tales precisely because I cannot (so far, after many tries) get past the unskippable rain dance. Dont know if the timed arcade games in Botanicula are skippable.

lurkercat, I'm horrible with arcades, myself, but I've bought the game already, I go ahead and try it. Arcade episodes in a game can be loads of fun, I will see if they are that difficult in this game.

lurkercat , I'm horrible with arcades, myself, but I've bought the game already, I go ahead and try it. Arcade episodes in a game can be loads of fun, I will see if they are that difficult in this game. So, I've tried out the game - I only see so much cuteness so far - there are no hints, and the character you can move is not one character, but 5 tiny thingies moving in a group - each of them can do different things to solve a task, but there is no real guidelines which one to use in a certain situation. This game seems very unique and absolutely adorable. I have not encountered the "arcade" scenes yet - but I'm in love already. In a sense, it gives me the feeling of the game "Leaves" so far, but much cuter. The truth is though, that this game will defy every common sense, or logic, he he. I will be back to report on the "arcade" parts.
