I bought the game on Bigfish thinking it was the most recent and same game as all other game sites. Boy was I wrong. I downloaded Gamehouse's after I bought Bigfish's. There is a relax mode. In Bigfish's there isn't. So I bought Gamehouse's too. I am hoping Bigfish will work with me here and understand it's their fault.
I shouldn't have to download the same game from every site and think it's different. No one should. I just assumed it was the same. It's not. So what you think?

Developers often do release slightly different versions of games at different portals for various reasons. But BF lets you demo games for free to see if you'd like them and also would tell you if the game doesn't like your computer. If not having a relaxed mode is a deal-breaker but you bought the game without demoing, that's on you. Same thing goes for when someone buys a game and finds it doesn't run on their computer without demoing first.

Yes..but SynthpopAddict , Yeah...but she didn't know the game came with ' relaxed' on another provider. Even if you demo...and it all works..how would you know you are missing a feature others have? Like the hint button in BFG brother rabbit...if you tried steam first...you would not know that BFG were offering more without checking all portals or providers, you would just think the game comes without one ...the complaint she was stating? I would hope BFG will at least hear you out metmichallica

Considering the OP has a GameHouse account and prefers GH anyway, she already has access to the game at GH, so it's still on her if she went and bought the game outright at BF without demoing it. You can see if the game has a relaxed mode during a demo, so sorry, but I can't sympathize and have to wonder if this wasn't just a means to get a free game credit.

I can assure you that is not the reason SynthpopAddict , That makes no sense and is a waste of time for me to do because you are right I can play all the games on Gamehouse with Funpass. However I do not download the same game from sites and I usually don't use Funpass. If you are right and you think I used it just to get a free credit. What's the point in having Bigfish? I can play all the games on Gamehouse, but I do not download the same game from different sites. It would be a waste of time because usually it is the same game. Btw Bigfish did give me a coupon code.
Edited to add: I also lost a credit when I purchased frome Gamehouse so technically I didn't gain anything.

If you have a GH account and are able to purchase a game every month with whatever benefit you're getting, and the game in question was available on both GH and BF, then I don't know why you wouldn't just play the game at GH since you already have access to play the game as much as you want instead of even dealing with BF and buying the BF version without demoing it only to find out that it isn't as good as the GH version. That's like paying for the game twice since the money you pay GH lets you have unlimited access to play their catalog. If you had already used up your monthly GH purchase benefit for one game, there's next month and you could have just been playing the game with the "rental" access until you got another credit.
I bought the standard edition of the 2 I Love Finding Cats games at BF for around $6 each on sales. A couple months later, I switched to Steam and found that not only are the collector's editions of these games just $6.99 full price at Steam, you can buy a bundle of 3 games for just $13.62 plus tax. And not only is there more content in the games because they are the CEs, but you can get Steam trophies for playing these same games on Steam. Even if I have my BF version games installed onto my Steam GM - which you can do - I still wouldn't be able to play for the Steam trophies in those games. Does this mean I should write to BF saying I got burned by paying too much and I can't get extra trophies for playing their version? No, it's on me for not shopping around, but that's just my opinion. And I'm not surprised to hear BF isn't doing all that well in recent years with them giving out coupon codes for everything instead of having actual CS. I'm out of here.
