So the new BFG website, being all KINDS of fun Shaking Computer has some account options I don't recall having before. Among them, Stored Payment Methods - which won't actually let me do anything and seems completely pointless, and Store Credit - which shows me a balance of $0.00 but offers me a chance to redeem a gift card. I can't find anything (current) in their ridiculously out-of-date help articles about gift cards, so I've come to my Woodsy friends instead. Has anyone used this option and what's it all about?
I'll give some context to why I'm asking...I did this long survey for Disney+ and despite being a Canadian customer of theirs, I was rewarded with a USD Visa gift card type thing. As BFG is the only US company I make any payments to I'm wondering if I might be able to use it there. As I barely trust BFG now, I don't want to just give them the info without asking you guys if anyone's used the option before I take this further.
Any thoughts anyone?

orionsrose , I am not an expert...but I only think you can use BFG gift certificates. They actually have and option (somewhere) that you can 'buy' a game and send it to a friend. I have my debit card stored with them (meaning they have your credit/or debit card number to automatically take the funds from on their books already)..and when I buy a game I have to tick that top.. They say 'stored' as they give you a chance if you want to change it..(maybe it ran out or lost etc) to add a different one, and I guess some people may remove their card details each time, But I think you can only use real cash/card to purchase not gift cards? The store credit ... I am not sure of...but it will be 'their store' I guess?, You can buy a 'BFG gift game' for a friend to pick their own game. Maybe if that person does not accept..you can get a 'store credit'?? Just guessing.... But I betcha its not 'other' stores...just BFG? Or maybe it's their way of giving a refund without reversing a credit card if a game does not work? As I said..these are all my assumptions..Don't quote me... I am just guessing around really based on your visa not working. UPDATE: Ok...I went to check it out. If the gift visa card is a design like a credit card...you can 'add' a new credit card as your stored card. The only other payment method is a 'gift certificate'....and it asks you to put that in As I don't have your card in front of me...I am assuming they mean a BFG 'gift certificate' that you can buy from the site for a friend and send to them. I mean they still have 'coupon code' option there, and they don't even use codes anymore. Maybe a leftover from the 'changeover' period. I really don't think they will accept anything that is not a credit/debit card with your name on it, connected to an account, and a digit safety code on the back.( not 'gift' visa card and a pin number?) ...(is that's what you got from Disney?) And I am not in Canada so it also may be different there..but we have to take our 'gift cards' to a major dept store and put it through a cash register. Those are just my thoughts on it all.

orionsrose, Just a suggestion but you could always use the PP visa on Amazon, heck, you can even buy digital games on Amazon and they also have several Big Fish games there too. I have purchased several digital downloads from Amazon, they work beautifully, I've even purchased Microsoft Office software. They have a section where you can look up any digital purchases to redownload them as well! I even purchased a Super Collapse game from Amazon when I couldn't get any of the other sites games to work on Win10 (at the time) No other site's Super Collapse games worked but the one I purchased from Amazon worked 100%
