I would bet y'all have had a discussion going on this subject somewhere but I didn't see it. Every single time I buy one new game I have to uninstall Big Fish and reinstall it in order for the client to recognize that I bought the game. If I buy more than one (and make sure I click on a link that picks up all of them) I don't have that problem. Is this a problem with everybody or just some of us? I don't really mind the changes they made in general. In fact I kind of like the point system. But I don't see how they have any subscribers at all if everybody is having this much trouble. Mind you, I'm not quitting and maybe other people feel like I do but it is a pain and I would think they would lose more customers over that than the changes they made.

makewecasa, I too have that trouble? How I got around it was... Once you purchase the game.. don't download it from that screen, just minimise it. Open another window in your browser...go to the BFG site and your account profile..click on (big fish points or my game club or whatever)...and on the menu then is 'my downloads'You should see the game you just bought listed as 'unlimited downloads'...if that is there (and by now you should have your purchase email confirmation)..and download it from there. (my downloads)..(it will show up as EXE P50)..and give you the whole game. If you download from the the first screen (and I have the problem too)...when you go to download it...it only shows up as EXE 50..to commence the download. So I guess the 'P' means 'purchased"? I don't know..but that's what I do EVERY time I buy a BFG game...I just go through ALL the motions except the 'download' and only download from my account 'my downloads' that say 'Unlimited downloads"...meaning 'you have purchased it. PAIN IN THE 'A'...YES!! But it saves time doing a big download twice. They will prob never fix it..and it seems to only happen to the select few of we 'chosen' ones LOL! Hope this helps...and at least you know you are not alone

Boy, I count myself lucky - I've never had such problems as you are both describing. Usually, I just download games through the game manager and it works fine. Assuming I've done the demo the option to activate is right there or I can do it from the Purchase History option or even just the top where you can search for a game to download. Then again, I'm rarely buying that day's new game. Maybe that's why I haven't run into any problems. That said, I miss the old purchase history lists, so organized and clean and attractive. I find nearly everything about this new system and the web page changes a mess.
I don't mind the point system either...in theory. I'm buying less unwanted games due to not having to fill a punch-card each month so I'm glad about that. And points, in and of themselves, are perfectly fine as they still stand for a specific amount and they are just banked and used as needed.
It's really all the rest of the changes that have me...uh...shall we say peeved. The ridiculous mess of a website, the endlessly deteriorating company and customer service, the massive cost increases to all of us not using the US dollar, the cruel removal of the forums, etc. Oh, and I hate the new Felix. >:(
