I would to share some images of our capital city, Helsinki (if you click on it, it will take to google images) - the metropolitan area, the Central City Helsinki area consists of 4 adjacent cities: Helsinki, Espoo, Vantaa and Kauniainen - population in this area is about 1,2 million (of the total Finnish population of 5,5 million - so the remaining people have ample space ) - the center of Helsinki is almost totally surrounded by sea

The blue stands for the water, white for the snow? You have cool fun facts! (I don't have any fun facts for the US Rolling Smilie )

The pictures are beautiful, sonia (username @eskarina). I love the abundance of nature and water. Finland also has one of the best educational systems in the world.

kimtwilight69 - pennmom knows cool facts about Finland - like that we are the least densely populated country in the EU statistics also claim Finland is the happiest country in the world - and that we drink the most coffee in the world - now, is there a correlation... :)

sonia (username @eskarina), so is it safe to say that Finland doesn’t have the best educational system in the world? I read articles praising your educational system, I don’t know.

I'm totally unsure how your quote will appear - hopefully not a total mess...about our educational system - it has been praised and different statistics show different results depending on what is measured, and I would not say it's the best in the world... education is free for all, so that may count as a pro - as a con I'd say it forces all students into the same "mould", even if some are more gifted than others

I'm totally unsure how your quote will appear - hopefully not a total mess. You can select sections of a quote by simply highlighting the section you want rather than quoting an entire post. For example, I simply highlighted the above section of your post and a "quick quote" tab appears, when you click on it, that highlight portion is saved on a clipboard memory until you select the reply button to start a post at which point your selected highlighted quick quote appears. You can still choose to quote the entire post by clicking the quote tab which opens a new post with the entire quote automatically, but I tried to give a little more customizations to members here. PS: You can also choose "Post Moods" next to the create post tab bottom right before submitting a post

pennmom - I found the quick quote well, but I'm not sure if it worked, because I don't see it in this message yet... I feel so dumb - I click on the quick quote and then "reply" but for me nothing happens

I found the quick quote well, but I'm not sure if it worked Here are screenshots for step by step directions: Highlight the portion of the quote you desire, the quick quote tab automatically appears...click on the "Quick Quote" tab After clicking the Quick Quote Tab, it places it in the Quick Reply Box, where you would normally click to start a new post. NOTE: If there is no quote there, just click the Reply button anyway, it will appear! Click the reply button where I placed the blue star hereAfter clicking the Reply button, the post appears complete with all the quote stats and you can put your finishing touches to the post before sending the post. When you are finished with the post, simply click the "Create Post" tab at the bottom right (where I placed the blue start)

sonia (username @eskarina), It's not a problem, I know that seeing visuals work for me so I thought it might work for you and it looks like it did the trick!!! PS: I added a second UPLOAD image host by Nickpic, that tab is on the bottom by create post (working on getting tab for the SB) you will have to sign up for a free account the first time you use it. The second one is thru Cloudinary (top right tab "upload files"

pennmom - only a while ago it looked promising and I thought we'd soon see our first flowers, but then we had 3 days of snowing - snowstorms even - it's hard to relate to global warming...
