Today BFG have a game up called 'Mushroom Age'...in the favourites. I was surprised to see 'get help at our forums' as a link. I thought the forums were totally gone
THEY ARE... Rolling Along But what did come up when I clicked the link.....was a fair amount of walkthroughs...mainly HOPA's....and the actual game 'Mushroom Age'..is not there! Rolling Along
I did however bookmark the page for easy find...should I ever need one of the walkthroughs? I don't know any other way to access them from the BFG site other than finding each particular game?? But this is an alphabetical list and maybe even a reminder of some games you may have forgotton?
Maybe someone can enlighten me otherwise...but just thought I should mention it. I was surprised the lists were there. Cheers all. Cheers Mate

Yes, those WTs were and have always been around, mostly for HOPAs and you have to dig a bit now to find them. Not sure who was doing those for BF or if anyone is still contributing to them. Any WTs that were in the BF forums are gone forever, unfortunately. I may or may not have a few WTs saved elsewhere as I tried to get all of my WTs that were in the BF forums before they went poof, so ask me if you're looking for old M3 help.

joybelle, moni, SynthpopAddict, Back in the day BF used to offer a Strategy Guide Walkthrough (I think they cost 6.99?) and they even had their own page on the website. I think once they started offering CE's the need was no longer there because basically you could find the SG online FO-FREE

I've been replaying Lost in Reefs: Antarctic and there's one puzzle that has me stumped. I remember needing to ask for help in the forums years ago and someone did help me - but of course that's gone now and I don't remember the solution. It's the 'feed the albatross' one where you have to catch 3 fish. I caught 2, but don't remember how to catch the third.

Valkara, unfortunately I don't have that game :( but it's currently only $3.99 at Steam and has penguins, so will pick this up and play over the weekend. Unless the game doesn't like my PC will get back to you sometime in the near future. What level is it?

The game itself is a Match-3, and the "feed the albatross" puzzle is one of the mini-games sprinkled throughout. When you solve them, you get a bonus of 100 gems, which can be used to purchase power-ups (some levels can't be completed without at least the hammer to break chains). You also earn gems by making combos and swaps when you're doing your matches.
It's not an actual level in the game itself. These mini-games are a combination of hidden object and figure out what to do with the object once you've found it. There's no list of what you need to find, but it's usually just a few things. The actual goal is something like free the trapped whale, feed the albatross, and so forth.
The music in this game is incredible. I find it very relaxing, which is a problem when playing in timed mode. Each layout has a moves mode and timed mode.

Thanks Valkara, I did buy it late last night and am around level 25 for now. For all that this is a "simple" looking game, looks like it dates back to the days when M3s had no relaxed mode and no "free bombs" as you alternate between limited moves and timed playing a set of levels before another set unlocks, plus you don't get powerups for bigger matches. The gaming OCD has me replaying the limited moves boards a few times to get 3 stars, so even though the M3 boards are tiny, it's not easy, which I like! Also like the use of traditional and hex boards, which you don't see much, and the soundtrack is quite good. When I get to the albatross quest will get back to you. Only played the first 2 but should be back within a few days. :)

This list could come in handy!
And Mushroom Age is such a weird game. So very, very weird. (rofl)

Valkara , here's how to do the feed the albatross chick puzzle: 1) Pick up the stone, bone, and fishing net lying about in the snow or around the nest. 2) Dip the net in the ocean in the center foreground until you get a fish in inventory, then feed the bird. 3) Throw the bone into the ocean about where you dipped the net, then wait for a fish to jump out. 4) Dip the net into the ocean in the center foreground until you get a fish in inventory, then feed the bird. 5) Use the stone to break the iceberg up somewhere in the bottom right (I think it was just off the center) and wait for the last fish to jump out. 6) Use the net in the usual location to catch the last fish and feed the bird.
