So, April's fool day started with a big bang for us early in the morning... my husband went to get breakfast for us at 6am, and came home with a Broward Sheriff Dpt. Accident Report. Then we both went to get that breakfast with the other car. Then we made a pact: whoever finishes breakfast first, will get the honor to claim the title April's Fool, and to file the insurance claim - I've never seen my husband to eat so slowly.

Assuming that accident part isn't a joke...I really hope he's ok moni !  Actually I forgot the "joke" part of it...lol.. Hubby gave me the accident report in a shopping bag, "Here is your breakfast" - and he had fun watching me looking for it, and finding the accident report only. I even asked: "Is this a joke?" lol.
None of the drivers got hurt, but the front bumper of our car is gone, and the other car had to be towed. My husband was waiting in the medium to turn left, and the other car was simply running into the nose of our car, got a spin after the collision, flew over the meridian, turned upside down, than back on the tires on the opposite side of the meridian. The lady got out of the car without a scratch and was yelling and fuming at my husband, blaming him for the accident - as I said, my husband was in a NOT moving car waiting to turn, lol... The arriving police had to cuff her and chill her, in the mean time everybody was amazed that she has not just got out of the totaled car alive but without as much as a paper cut!
I'm not a religious person, but I will go to the church and light a candle and offer gratitude for all the protective angels I know, because I don't know which one of them was watching over my husband and that lady this morning.

WOW.. moni , you just never know do you? Just sitting there doing nothing and WHAM...gosh! Glad it is fairly minor and Hubby OK! The only APRIL FOOL...I had (and fell for)...was waking to club headlines that my footy team had been stripped of it's win for having too many players on the field at one time...after my adrenaline went up and my heart sank...I realised what date it was.  |
