So, is anyone playing this - and if so, are you getting any sound?? I'm running the Steam version and it is totally silent - no voiceovers, no music, etc. I've tried toggling the "m" key, to no effect. My sound is working for other applications, just not for this game. No complaints about sound on Steam's discussion page except for folks who get music but no voices - but I dont even get music. Anyone else having any better luck, or know of a possible solution??
Also, anyone find a way to slow down the cutscene display after Grandpa and Anna are done talking - though their dialog went dreadfully slowly, the cutscene storyline flashed by w-a-y quicker than I could read anything...I gather Anna somehow went into the woods and was captured by a witch...but that is at best a guess on my part 'cause the story lines flashed way too fast to see.

lurkercat, Grandpa got seriously ill and so Anna broke her promise never to go into the woods so she could find a cure. The witch had been watching her and grabbed her there. No problems with sound. Did you try playing with the sound in settings?
