What is your favorite mini-game between HO scenes? Please feel free to write below other favorites.

My favorite is slider puzzles (where you need to extract a key through blocking tiles by sliding the tiles to make a path to the "exit"). Besides that I like "untangle the strings" and pipe puzzles where you need to construct a connection from start to finish (which often turns out to be either a swap or rotate puzzle).

I didn't think there was anyone else in the world who liked sliders except me. I like exactly the same games as you. There used to be a game called PIPES years ago that I just loved. Plus I like picture puzzles whether it's a jigsaw or swapping and rotating pieces or putting books or whatever in order to make a picture. And I like the puzzles where you have to place statues (usually) in the correct order on two or three shelves with only a partial clue. And I love Hanoi puzzles and those barrel/box puzzles where you have to move a barrel/box from end of a grid to the other. And piano puzzles if they use actual musical notes. Don't ask me to turn on lights or follow the leader.

I like pipe puzzles. I HATE spot the difference puzzles. I DESPISE the kind of slide puzzles where there's one empty space and you have to slide the rest of it around to make a picture. I have never been able to figure out how to do those. My favorite is slider puzzles (where you need to extract a key through blocking tiles by sliding the tiles to make a path to the "exit"). I love slider puzzles too!
I love some "pipes" games if they are intricate
My favorites are mechanical-type puzzles where you have to set gauges, levers, etc.
A lot of mini-games are lame because they are solved within a few seconds on most HOGs. I would love to have a size option on a jigsaw for example so I could choose to do a 1000 piece puzzle versus a 24 piece child's jigsaw
#1 Rube Goldberg Puzzles My dream puzzles are Rube Goldberg puzzles, but there aren't many devs who can pull those off, Grandma Studios came close on the last MCF game, The original Rube Goldberg puzzles were done by the Big Fish Development team believe it or not!

Goldberg Puzzles are generally tricky or time consuming in all stages of development. Planning, implementation etc but I agree. If well done these are super interesting.

Slider puzzles and pipes are my favorites. I hate memory because I don't have one anymore!

I loath Spot the Difference and Memory puzzles. My eyes aren't that good anymore and short term memory has left the building.
I may be one of the few but I don't like any Puzzles that make me think too hard or they take too long to do. (same goes for the HO's) By the time I'm finished with those type of Puzzles I won't remember most times what I'm even playing. It takes the fun out of HOPA games for me and that is what I look for in playing games. To relax, unwind and enjoy my self.
