I didn't use it that much anyway so I thought I could sign up for something better so I signed up for Amazon Music Unlimited. Of course I did it without my brother's permission so he yelled at me. I thought it was a 4 month free trial, but they billed his account. They billed it $9.53 (we have amazon prime). So I am enjoying it. They probably billed it because I'm not a new member.
You see what they did with amazon music prime (you cannot listen to on demand songs anymore) If you select a song it will play a random song instead of the song you selected. I think that was one of the best things about Amazon music prime. It allowed you to play songs ondemand. For example I could play some Metallica albums and some I couldn't. Amazon music unlimited unlocked them all, but it was nice having some music albums in amazon music prime included with prime for free.
The only thing I'm wondering is how it compares to other music services. On the ps4 I have spotify installed (free with ads) don't really use it. I am wondering how you good you think other music services are. The only music service I ever had is amazon and the free spotify.

metmichallica , I don't use any music services so I can't answer your question. I'm atavistic when it comes to my music because I still buy what I like. I'm still using my iPod. I have Spotify free so I can check out a new album to see if it's worth buying the whole thing - not often. I have Amazon Prime but I've never tried their streaming service. Sorry!

SynthpopAddict and Jo , I check out music on CDs from my library, upload it to iTunes on my computer, and then put it on my iPhone. Freeeeeee. People laugh but I hate streaming. I want to listen to what I want to listen to, when I want to listen to it!

I got Gamehouse back. The music service is comparable to youtube. At least for me so why pay?
My brother is getting sick of me canceling stuff and signing up for stuff. He wants me to stay with Gamehouse and Bigfish and not cancel them. Probably because I always go back.

I've decided to start buying physical media (Blu Ray, DVD, CD etc) instead of relying on digital media for my favorites. I do get the streaming services for now, but own favorites such as Columbo, McCloud and others. That way, I can watch them anytime I want to without wondering if they left the services or changed to one I don't pay for.
As for your brother, he'll get over it.

I got something on Amazon for $19.99 last week without his permission and he banned me from using his card till Dec for anything extra. He told me to cancel Gamehouse and Bigfish which I did. Then he wanted me to have them back without storing his credit info. I said that's not possible. So he left me reactivate Gamehouse and Bigfish which I did. He also left me keep Norton (on yahoo) which he is the only one that uses anymore. I got this www.amazon.com/Avast-Ultimate-Antivirus-Cleaner-Download/dp/B07WDLV1KG/ref=sr_1_5?crid=3MB7IX4I5KFCW&keywords=AVG&qid=1695816343&sprefix=avg%2Caps%2C166&sr=8-5&th=1which he even said is a good price. But he swears by Norton. Did you know that Norton owns Avast/AVG and Avira? I knew about Avira didn't know about AVG/Avast till recently. The only downside is it is only for one computer. Maybe I can talk my brother into letting me get him a license. It's 6.99 he will save a month for Norton. I like it better than norton yahoo because of the vpn and I also like it because you don't have to put payment info in your account. Edited to add: and you can also optimize your computer.

Most modern software systems do not need any added protection as they tend to be resource hogs. I have Windows 11 which provides more than enough security.
I also have Ad Block which keeps unwanted ads from downloading their programs and whatnot. It's free (although they do suggest a donation so I give $35 each year when I can afford it) and easy to set up.
Also, avoid adult sites that offer free content (as well as gaming and other sites which do the same).
