Our Acacia gets scared of fireworks, thunder, etc. so years ago, right before Halloween we got her a Thundershirt. Since she was going to be wearing it for Halloween, I decided to jazz it up a little and Bravegirl was born! She wouldn't wear the mask I attempted to make! lol  |

Since she was going to be wearing it for Halloween, I decided to jazz it up a little and Bravegirl was born! She wouldn't wear the mask I attempted to make!  My son's dog is even afraid if the wind is blowing hard, and the vet gave her chill pills but he had to cut them in 1/2 because it made her a drooling zombie! I've been recommending Thunder Buddies for years to my customers (at my grooming salon) so I just went ahead and bought one for Bella because my son was a disbeliever. Not only does it work in storms, it even works during the 4th of July! He ain't no disbeliever now! The reason many dogs get freaked out during storms is because there is more static in the air which is a sensation kind of like goosebumps in humans and they freak out. Thunder Buddy shirts, jackets, and wraps basically prevent the "goosies" while soothing their securities with a snug-fitting shirt like a mommas hug :) |
