There is a UK artist, Des Brophy, who does the most delightful watercolors of old people being joyous.
I love these because it reminds me to be joyful. I need to buy one of his prints to remind the kids that it's possible at any age.
So one moment I'm taking my pulse and the next I'm a cheeky child.

Actually my REAL choice is not up there. In my mind, I'm always in my mid to late 20s - happy, carefree, not a care in the world, endless possibilities, and a ton of things yet to be explored. Hmmmm, perhaps not all that different from now, but admittedly significantly leavened by creakiness, slowness, and the cynicism that comes with tempering it all with experiences of "reality". But I can't deny that's the age my mind persists in thinking I'm really in. Spinning Daisy

lurkercat, yes! I still act like a young adult, despite being 45.

I'm with lurkercat, and lisabella! But dang if that creakiness and cynicism hasn't been coming out to play a lot lately! OMG
