This is a random assortment of polls/poles. FYI: You will be unable to use punctuation in the poll options. This is a bit inconvenient.
EDIT: You can't use numbers in the options, either. It deleted the number 10 from the "10 foot pole" option. And that one is apparently 2200% of the vote, whereas the other 4 options are only 20%.
The polling feature here can't spell or count.

I belong to a gaming forum where most people who do poll threads include at least one joke option. It's usually some sort of in-joke that you had to be there at the time to understand. There was one time I used "Give Maddy a hug from me" as one of the options (Maddy is my cat, and I talk about her frequently there). I now owe Maddy over 100 hugs. Strangers from all around the world - mostly guys - want to hug my cat.
This assortment was just what popped into my head when I decided to try this feature. Obviously it has some bugs in it, as it won't accept options with Arabic numbers or any kind of punctuation - not even an apostrophe or comma.
The "People from Poland" option was inspired by a couple of friends on the other gaming forum. One of them has an interesting life story. He was born in communist Poland, his family escaped to a refugee centre in Germany, spent several years there, and then emigrated to Canada. He now works in the IT department of a university in Ontario, and uses his 5-week annual holiday to travel around the world. He takes photos and videos and posts them in his travel threads. The current thread is about his trip to Vietnam. He's also been to Argentina, Japan, Thailand, Norway, and Everest Base Camp (he says he has no plans to even think about going any higher on Everest as he hasn't the physical conditioning or mountaineering skills for it - or the money, as it's an expensive undertaking).
