They are exactly like fun size candy. If you are a member they are about $3 something each and non members a dollar more...pretty much it's a page of 'daily deals' rather than just one. Just trying to sell some old games off I guess. ???

I ran across these posts on a Discord server where I mostly lurk in the bushes. Is this true? Can you really use the BF code for 63 games?

Or 66 games? I'll keep an eye on these guys and see how high they go.

Wouldn't you have to create an account using a different email? I suppose you could just get free GMail accounts.
I couldn't find 66 games I want on BF if I tried cuz I own all the ones I wanted Rolling Along

When I first saw these Discord posts I thought this can't be true because BF would never allow it because it loses BF a ton of money and also cheats the devs. But now I think it was true. lurkercat, of course it's never right to game the system just because you can. I didn't even use the code posted in our shoutbox to get one game. For BF to leave the door to the vault unlocked is the height of foolishness and an invitation to cheat. There are always people looking for a loophole. I can't believe this happened.

so they are getting these games 1 per account? That's some true dedication, that must take them hours and hours to do!

If they were using one account, then couldn't we all have done it? I wonder if anyone tried after seeing the first post. I'm curious as to it if was multiple accounts or just one.
These are the type of people I'm glad I don't hang around with.

Well, that'll teach him not to gluttonously game the system!

Anyone ever seen this section on BF? Anyone else find it hilarious that the title is Submit Your Game, and then it says they aren't accepting submissions (maybe this is the problem)

They were able to download and install their games anyway. What was BFG thinking - if they told them to be nice they would be? This has turned out to be like leaving your wallet containing your whole pay check on the front seat of your car with the window down - too tempting to resist.
Come on, BF. Get your shit together!

@pennmom said: They didn't bother to stop fraudulent voting so this really doesn't surprise me either
They don't have human mods guarding the castle like our joybelle. An algorithm will only recognize what it's programed to recognize. A human is better at catching unexpected problems. (Just FYI for our members: Joybelle works the opposite shift from Pennmom and me. She spends her time zapping trolls and spammers keeping the Woods safe from pests. In my time zone, I only see a few but Joybelle gets the bulk of them in her time zone. So, even if most members aren't aware of it, Joybelle does a lot to keep the Woods safe and a pleasant place for everyone.) We've all seen the problems with BFG customer service and even simple things like downloading a game. Gotta have humans to catch the problems and take care of customers.
This latest snafu at BF may have been more widespread and worse for BF than I thought from the couple of posts on Discord.
I'm shocked, appalled and saddened by this. Imagine stealing so much you get bored and stop.

Those people are gross. joybelle, Jo, pennmom, thanks for zapping the trolls. I saw one late at night and panicked because I didn't want anyone clicking the link! Joybelle was on it!

This has to be the last piece of this fiasco. There is nothing more valuable in shaping corporate policy than an automatic, computer generated email.

Is it just me.... Or is everyone else getting the half page "About Big Fish Games Terms of Use, Privacy Policy, and Cookies" banner EVERY time they go to BFG and every time they change pages while on the site? Does not matter how many times I select Manage Settings and choose "Decline (all except required)". (I'm happy to accept all their terms of use, but I refuse to choose "Accept Terms and All Cookies, 'cause I dont want their other remaining "junk" cookies). Clicking Manage Settings drops banner on page I'm on, but pops it up again immediately if I click on something to go to a new page. I access the site via the "classic" view (which gets me directly to the PC page) and without signing in. I put up with the foolishness while they kept saying they were changing terms of use on December 1, but it is well past then and the thing still pops up all the time.
I'd think developers would be screaming bloody murder, since the banner effectively prevents use of the site at all since between that stupid panel & the title banner + browser toolbars, there are only about 4-5 lines of real content visible on the page (and not even enough space for a full picture of any of their games). Banner does drop after several minutes, but I've certainly not got the patience to wait for that timeout.
Or am I mistaken in believing that the "Accept Terms and All Cookies" really means ALL cookies and instead, if I were to click it, it would give me only the cookies I'd accepted on the "Manage Settings" page (ie, am I just causing my own affliction by thinking not clicking it is the only way I've got to avoid the junk cookies)???

lurkercat, It used to disappear whenever I signed in, but now it won't go away. It's as if they are forcing you to accept ALL cookies. I just got a brain-fart and tried using the "incognito" tab, but the same thing happened. It's really annoying when I'm trying to copy the daily game info to post here in the mornings. I was just reading about the lawsuit Google just recently settled, so I think it's nearly impossible to not get loaded with cookies when using the internet: Google settles $5 billion lawsuit over tracking Chrome users in 'incognito mode' The class-action lawsuit filed in 2020 said Google misled users into believing that it wouldn't track their internet activities while using incognito mode.
