I joined a couple weeks ago and I'm not a huge poster but I need some advice. I now belong to 3 forums that happen to be through Proboards. After I signed up here, I now have to request a new password for each and every darn forum including here every time I want to visit. When I sign into one, I can't get back in the other two without requesting password help and waiting for an email. Every. darn. tooting. time. With just 2 proboard forums, no problem. I am not tech savvy at all. Does anyone know why this is an issue and an EASY fix for it? Even though I enjoy my forums, the aggravation is not worth it and I may just say " uncle " to it all.

If you create a ProBoard Global Account, you can link all of your proboard forums together, and it is very easy to switch between them after that.
Nevertheless, you need to register to all of the forums separately, and create a login profile - after that you can always use the link below to switch between them:
On the page above, you click "Dashboard" - it will list all of your forum accounts, choose the link to the one you want to visit, it will bring up the login page of the chosen forum, and just click login... (it won't ask the login info, it will simply log you in)
Once again, you need a Global account, and you need separate registration/login profile to each forum first.
...and maybe @pennmom would know more about this, lets ask her, too...

Moni, Thanks so much. I do not know what a global account is but I bookmarked your link and I am able to access all 3 forums from that and that is good enough for me! Much appreciated!

sandy, Perhaps, the Global Account is automatically created once we are registered to more than one ProBoard fourm... lol...
I'm glad I could help, now, we would like to see you more... (wink, wink). We have a great little bunch here!

Yes, when you join more than one ProBoards forum, you get automatically a global account. The only reason I can think of that you have problems sandy, is that you are using different email addresses when you join the different forums. I am not sure if it makes a difference if you are using a different username, though. For example, if you are using a different email account at one forum from that of the other two, then that account will not be part of the global account.

sandy, moni,@valdy, On the bottom right corner there is a YOOTLE bar that allows you to switch between accounts as well (if the forum has the YOOTLE BAR plugin) this bar also allows you to switch the background of the forum and so much more, and on the left bottom corner you can find the Gift Shop where you can adopt adorable pets or dragon eggs!

The switch account option in the bottom right yootle bar allows me to switch to continue as a guest at this forum instead of "moni" lol.. Although there is an option to link accounts, it doesn't automatically brings up the forums I'm registered for.

moni, when you click on the "switch accounts" tab it will bring up the forum profile of the current forum, if you select the appropriate links below, you can link other accounts, once that has been done you can switch between them Create a new account on this forum. Link another forum account. Not you? Login to your account. Change Password.

Thanks, everyone! I only have one email account that I have had for years. When I had only two proboard accounts, it wasn't a problem. It wasn't till I joined the Woods forum that this happened.

sandy, that's because they are all Proboards forums and you can't log into multiple forums at the same time so you either have to log in globally or sign out of 1 forum before signing onto another. I think they do this as a small deterent to keep spammers out.

I never log out of any forums. It's just simpler to be logged in all the time. I never had to log in "globally". I just register at one forum, and then it's been added to my "global" account, which is really an invisible thing, as far as I know, and just makes it easier to join any other ProBoards forums by adding my email address automatically to the page where I register.
