I'm sorry for my delayed reply, but I was focused on other tasks not related to gamedev. cyril50, for your purchase, I hope you liked it! :) pennmom, so much for your management. Your passion and funny posts always make me happy :) for your continued support since day 1. A 1 since day 1. SynthpopAddict, we already included the fish in the HO of the game we're working on (rofl) Now, a few updates: - SynthpopAddict, I talked to the team about your suggestion for the game's backgrounds. We'll think about including wallpapers in future games.
- Officially, 10th Corpse is our best-performing game ever. We even reached #2 in BF Windows, and #1 in BF Mac. However, we're still far, far away from the masters. Little by little.
- I think DS7 will be released by BF tomorrow or the day after tomorrow. I'm not sure at this point.
- Rearding our next game, nothing to show yet. However, we already completed our level editor, implemented the new power-up system and we're currently working on the battles. Yes, the game will have battles, but not too much, and I really want to receive your feedback on a mechanics we're adding which will allow for extra damage to your opponent. I'll let you know once it's implemented.
- We'll be adding relaxed, limited-moves and timed modes. Obviously, this will require extra work and testing, in order to properly calibrate thresholds in timed and limited-moves modes.
- Unlike 10th Corpse, power-ups in the new game won't require the filling of a bar. Now we're following the approach of awarding power-ups directly on the board according to the shape or size of your combinations. Nevertheless, you can also accumulate power-ups and place them on the board whenever and wherever you like. But no bar filling for power-ups.
- An issue we'll need your help with is the explanation of those power-ups. Some players prefer the explanations of the power-ups appearing on a popup when the power-up is hovered. In 10th Corpse we displayed the explanations in a fixed area. A few players dislike messages over their boards. Surprisingly, this is not an easy choice, but I'm leaving it for last, once we get your feedback on the important things.
I already have some ideas for the game we'll create after this one. We'll do our best to accelerate development of the current game, but I'm sure that decorations and polish will take a lot of time. I hope your health and affairs are as good as possible in these difficult, strange times. Jose

Jose LOL what's going to happen next is I'm going to struggle with finding some other gigantic slap-in-face-obvious "hidden object" and the huge fish will be my friend. (rofl) If you do decide to make the backgrounds viewable separately, I'll be sure to check them all out in future DragonScales games because you never fail to amaze me with how pretty the backgrounds are in the entire series as one goes through the levels.
Congrats on having 10th Corpse do so well! I'm astonished that the DragonScales series wasn't your best seller though as IMO it's one of the best "unique" M3s out there in so many ways.
As for your other commentary:
-The addition of multiple playing modes is awesome; not everyone wants to play in relaxed only so ! :D
-Please don't set the stats for timed or moves mode only to a pro's stats. ;)
-I'm not sure about the having powerups appear just for making larger matches (straight line, L or T shape) - liked the 10th Corpse concept of having to charge a meter first before you could place a powerup into the board. Getting powerups just for bigger matches usually turns a game into too much of a "free bombs" thing where you can just blow your way out of everything and not really think to solve levels, which is what really great M3s are all about (strategy).
-I liked the way the powerups were explained in 10th Corpse in the fixed area on the left side, but if you're changing up the mechanics, what you could do is have in-game popups for "unusual" things which we haven't all seen in lots of other games along with a "suppress hints" option in the game options for those who don't like having popups, AND have a "help" section elsewhere in the game (check out the Jewel Match M3s or one of LGT SIA's [formerly FRH Games] releases where they have the little book in the top left corner for game help as examples). We don't need explanations for stuff like 3x3 bombs or single column/row clearers which are in tons of other games if you ask me. :)

Surprised ikigames hasn't popped in himself to announce this, but I got an email from him yesterday to say his latest release, Suddenly Meow, is available at ikigames.com as well as at WildTangent and iWin. Be warned, this game is HARD...some levels will likely make you scream! (Be glad they edited one level which took me an entire day to crack in the beta testing phase!) I'm currently busy with another project but will get the WT up in the usual place pretty soon. If you love Cursed House but want it even more challenging, this one's for you. Enjoy! Get Tim the cat through the haunted forest and save his friends from the witch. Truly clever M3-puzzle fusion to make you think (I think it's harder than the "keep calm and think" rating IKIGames gives it on their website). HOS minigames and a new "piece the halves together" minigame with plenty of yummy food. Fight the evil witch's minions and the witch in the end! There's plenty of cat toys, milk, and yes, lots of fish! 8D

pennmom , I do believe it will release on BFG eventually, but you know how they are slower than the other portals because they don't ever have more than 2 games a day coming out... Don't know about Steam.
Update: Walkthrough is now published at Pond Friends under PC Game Help and Tips since I don't know when BF is going to get it. :)
