I'm on chapter three - {My progress on chapter three} I have lit the lamp with the star and the butterfly is bumping against the glass dome and there's only that one image - what do I do next...?

Since we are all pretty much onto on our Yellow fruit, here is the video walkthrough for it. The Yellow Apple

Glad to see everyone is having fun....ummm, or whatever the frustration is called! Bat To Computer
Seems like the yellow orb tends to get everyone stuck at the same point(s). Ah, togetherness!
We should compare notes at the end to see what we all "think" the story is about!

My early review of Gorogoa
I'm stupid. Ah, moni, I feel your pain! Though I must admit I also feel inordinately proud of myself when I manage to get something right that has stalled me for awhile, even if it is merely a step along the way and not a final accomplishment...helps to have a really, really low threshold for what I'll allow in as something to make me inordinately proud! Cool Dancing Speaking of which, can someone who has captured the yellow orb please tell me if the following is a path to capturing the orb BEFORE I twist myself into knots trying to accomplish a "trifecta" if none is really needed to complete the capture? {Where Im At & Where Im trying to go}I've arranged the colorful sashes on the building to align so that a stone traverses down the building from one screen to the one below it, then rapidly reversed the images so that the stone that went down the yellow ribbon now bounces down the green ribbon to hit the woman statue below & bounce to the head of the horse. Do I now need to do yet another quick swap of the vertical screens to get it to then drop through to break the glass enclosure over the butterfly? Doing the quick exchanges to "catch" the stone in the right image as it falls is driving me nuts!

Grrr, thanks smitty189. I just managed to answer my own spoiler (answer was "yes") but was expecting a "yes, here's your reward of the orb"...only to find myself with a new set of screens & a new puzzle to solve before I could continue. I definitely think the author of this game should have limited himself to X number of puzzles before giving us a reward, where X was at least less than a million!! Yes, yes, I want to join the "instant gratification" generation. It is sooooooooooooo frustrating to figure out something, only to be told there is more to do. If the depth of later steps continues increasing as much as the step from green to yellow apple, heck with a "complete in 30 minutes" criteria - I'll be struggling for "complete in 30 DAYS"!! Missed My Beer

lurkercat , CONGRATS on yellow and good idea because to me the blue one was way harder and finding it was I am sure just dumb luck. Still the game really is compelling I spent a whole lot of time in this game going WAIT ..... WHAT

Aw, smitty189 , couldnt you just lie to me and tell me things get easier from here, so I'd be brave enough to continue?? Seems time to note another thing to pay attention to for progressing in the game: Sometimes, one screen can affect elements of another screen, in different ways, based on the screens' positions relative to one another.

I have not had time to play today..and am a bit drained. But I will catch everyone up during the weekdays after you all finish I guess . Its winter here and we have to go out running around between weather events..and this weekend is cold but fine ...so things to do..things to do so I can stay out of the downpour that is the whole week coming. (we are having floods here)...

moni , - thanks for the video - I'm completely stumped on level 4 - I'm going to spend the day on the boat , just to be a little cooler by the sea - we won't go out because my husband's arm hasn't healed enough yet - I'll continue Gorogoa in the evening...

Just stay safe my dear friend! I know, it is unusually hot this summer there, the heat wave has claimed lives. Ping me on Steam, when you're back. I want to hear some good boat stories :)
I'm half way to snatch the yellow apple in Gorogoa, so no hurry. Probably I will be the last to tackle this game... lol.... (because I'm g'damn stubborn, I don't want to watch the videos...I probably will cave in on the end, though)
So just try to find the cool spot and have a good time.

joybelle , Sorry to hear of your flooding and hope things are not too bad, but your being in winter is such a delightful concept as we swelter in this summer's heat. Ah, no one is ever happy with their current season. sonia (username @eskarina) ,congrats on being up to the blue apple! There do seem to be a million different "starting" points on this level, dont there. I am impressed at the game designer's imagination & clever uses of otherwise static scenes...though it would be nice if he'd throw in a few simpler tasks now and then, or implement a hint system to give us more nudges in the right direction. Enjoy your day on the boat. moni , congrats on ignoring the temptation of the walkthrough so far! It is awfully tempting though, isnt it? You can definitely beat the yellow level. Hang in there!
smitty189 , ah, our trailblazer. I'm impressed with how quickly you've managed to get through the levels so far. Gives the rest of us hope the game is doable. Ok, not a lot of hope, but some is better than none.
I'm off to buy a new refrigerator today. My trusty 46(!) year old one is close to giving up the ghost, though I really was hoping it would manage to hang in there until "harvest gold" was back in fashion again. All the current color options are so blah and I'll miss the cheery touch the brighter color lends to each day.
