I think GH has had JM Sol Atlantis 3 for a couple of months now (?) and although I'd really like to try out the new mechanics of the powerups having to charge instead of always getting free "zaps" every level, doesn't it have something like 1000 levels or nearly that much? That's 800 levels too many for me...don't want to be spending weeks or months playing one game anymore. While one certainly gets the full money's worth with a Suricate Software release, I have to wonder if making games longer and longer in the current competitive market isn't a recipe for burnout on the development side of things. Never mind that with everyone having to crank games out more and more often, there are so many other games out there that maybe nobody will stick with a game for this long to finish it, so then all that work is "lost"? My opinion only of course, but if this had been 200 or so levels I would have at least demoed and most likely bought it as the graphics in the Atlantis series were my favorite of all the solitaire games.

I see that JM Atlantis Solitaire 3 is out, www.iwin.com/games/jewel-match-atlantis-solitaire-3-ceI'll wait for the BFG version... and I was actually really looking forward to beta testing more JM games from Suricate Software. Unfortunately, I haven't received such an offer yet :-/

cyril50, I hope you'll enjoy the game. As SynthpopAddict said, it is content packed. sisinka, As I said previously, Joerg handles all things related to our solitaire series himself. I don't think there was a beta test for this game. On top of that, the game has been completed for several months now, but I am guessing that Joerg waited for a proper release timing. However, we are getting close to a beta for our latest m3. I'll keep you posted on the progress :)

ashmoor: OK, thanks for info. I had no idea the game had been finished for so long :-) When I get to the game, I'll check it out carefully anyway, especially the instructions and game mechanics in the bonus solitaire games.

ashmoor, aren't the solitaire games done by some different people than the M3s for a large part? I wanted to say the main programmer is different and some of the graphics were done by other people too, although the castles and card details are still made by you and your wife for both the solitaire and M3s.

SynthpopAddict, sometimes they are but this time around the core Suricate team worked on the game. Adina has made most of the art. She made 6 out of 10 castles, the main menu and the outro screen. I worked on the new UI elements and the new game play elements. Adrian handled some of the QA and scripting tasks. The main programmer for the solitaire series is always Michal, even though sometimes Remi has an input.

I hope all this extra work isn't burning you out ashmoor, as we've had quite a few discussions on the topic elsewhere. Otherwise, I wish you the best with all your new releases and work in progress.

SynthpopAddict, we're ok at the moment. Only working on a new DDM and a new Suricate M3. There are days when I also work on another Suricate project but we're not crunching now :) pennmom, I'll get you steam key when the game is released :) By the way, are you a steam curator?

No, let's have more fish and underwater castles because I'm such a sucker for oceanic themes, LOL!
I don't really know what's going to happen with DDM3 but I sense the story will continue on from where DDM2 left off.

sisinka Sure, Czech translation is fine :) Do you enjoy playing the games in Czech or are you just doing this for the community? pennmom, I don't think a Gnome Village theme was ever spoken of at Suricate. I'll ask Remi, maybe he'll like it. SynthpopAddict, "No, let's have more fish and underwater castles because I'm such a sucker for oceanic themes," LOL, we may have an Aquascapes 2 at some point in the future. We do love the underwater theme. I thought you had enough after 3 solitaires and 1 m3. :)

ashmoor, "Do you enjoy playing the games in Czech or are you just doing this for the community?" All together. I also enjoy translating, it expands one's vocabulary. The question is, how often in practical life do I use, for example, "Enhanced saphire chest armor" :D

LOL, we may have an Aquascapes 2 at some point in the future. We do love the underwater theme. I thought you had enough after 3 solitaires and 1 m3. I only have one of the Atlantis solitaires because #1 seemed like "more of the same", #2 was buggy in the CE which also put me off trying #1, and #3 is light years too long for me so I'm not going there because the gaming OCD insists that I finish my games. So I really only have 2 games of the oceanic sort.
I've said it before and hate to be a broken record, but it would be great if at least some of the games were of the length they were 5-6 years ago. The gargantuan projects coming out now are becoming too time-consuming to enjoy, and I do love your games otherwise. It's sad when I'm starting to think beta testing the Lucaciu Studio nonogram games is preferable to beta testing Suricate Software M3s!

I, on the other hand, like match-3 or solitaire games to be long and the levels to be large. When one level of an M3 game has several subparts (Jewel Match or Match Ventures series) - or when the level is really extensive (I'm playing Runefall 1 right now... Creative Director = Jörg Henseler :-) )
For solitaire games I like when they contain "classic" playing cards (JM by Suricate); only for the Dreamland Solitaire games I'm willing to accept the graphics there.

ashmoor, I've been testing JMS Atlantis 3 on the iWin platform for a while now and have encountered a number of programming bugs, such as: - wrong counting of stars needed to open bonus levels, #AMMOUNT# - wrong evaluation of match-2 games (whether they were won or not, see picture: victory and cards on the board) - not assigning text (TaggedTexts.txt) to the game - some bug in Classic Solitaire Would it be possible for me to contact Michal Rawdanowicz DIRECTLY? I could give him the exact information. Some of these bugs are also in JMS Summertime, I just checked it on my BFG version of the game. Image: mega.nz/file/kJRnTQCD#v1bX5VaqpvQyfG7SgUzjRpzQikSbGGy9SvtXF2RoGYY---- I haven't bought the game yet, I don't want to pay Gamehouse every month, I want to have everything forever - so I'm waiting (BFG).

sisinka, it's great that you're catching these bugs, but I've been told that with the casual-only portals like BFG, iWin, WildTangent, GameHouse, etc. if the developers want to submit a patched version of a game, it's like having to submit a completely new game to them and the game has to go through a bunch of hoops to be approved again, as if the earlier version of the game had never existed. Steam is different where the developers are more or less just publishing the games directly, so they can patch whenever they want. This is why you might see different versions of a game depending on where you bought it from and why some of our usual gaming sites don't ever fix a game. BF does seem to publish updated versions of HOPAs pretty regularly, but with me not being a HOPA fan I don't know if this is because some parts of those games are really easy to break to where they won't work at all - requiring a patch and the whole "hoops" thing - or because HOPAs are the biggest selling genre at BF for the PC gamers so they focus mainly on those. The only times I've ever seen M3s or solitaire games being patched at BF it was when the game had some serious game-breaking bug which would make the game not work at all.
