MYSTERY RIDDLES ONLY A TRUE DETECTIVE CAN SOLVE
RULES FOR PLAYING THE MYSTERY RIDDLE GAME:
Don't look up the answer online (it takes all the fun out of the game) take a guess! Try to solve the mystery logically using deductions, obviously, the first guess won't be right and that's okay! On forums that offer this type of game, people make 10-30 guesses typically to solve a mystery. They use these right or wrong guesses to make better deductions.
To make it easier to solve the mystery riddle, rather than posting a spoiler:
1-If the guess is completely wrong I will say you are COLD
2-If the guess is close but not 100% correct I will say you are getting WARM
3-If you are spot on with the deductions but the answer is not complete, I will say you are HOT
4-When you get the entire mystery 100% correct I will post the answer in a SPOILER on the original riddle & post another Mystery Riddle ___________________________________________________________________________________________________

The victims always die after swallowing the tablet with water.
How does the killer manage to get the safe pill every time?
{Spoiler Answer} The water is the poison

Here's the way I interpret #2 (may be that my mind works oddly?) The woman who was shot is not the man's wife but a different woman and the man and his wife are the doctor and lawyer, so if there were 3 people standing by the dead woman, that leaves the police officer.

SynthpopAddict , ooh ahh...yeah..didnt say when the count in the room was taken...if the man walked in..that may well have been. So we know the hubby didnt do it...and it didnt say 'his wife' was killed..just the woman...So .. The police officer had to be male though..just because he was called Peter?? leaving the wife (doctor or lawyer) and two males in the room and hubby is a doctor or a lawyer....?? I think.. What a lot of fun this is!! How about simply...they were all friends and the hubby knew Peter his mate was a policeman..

3-Deadly Chemist Mystery A renowned chemist is found dead in his lab. There is no clear evidence except a piece of paper lying by the body. The paper is blank other than the name of five elements scrawled across it hastily:
Nickel Carbon Oxygen Lanthanum Sulfur
The guard reported that three people visited the chemist that day – his sister, Lanaya, his colleague, Nicolas, and his wife, Teresa.
The criminal was arrested immediately. Who was it?
{Spoiler Answer:} The list of chemicals had a clue – their abbreviations spell out the murderer’s name, Ni-C-O-La-S.

4-Friend Turned Foe
Amy goes to her friend, Maria's house, on a wintry evening only to find her dead. When the police learn about the incident, they question Amy how she found out. Amy says that she knocked on the door and rang the bell repeatedly. Since the light was on in one of the rooms, Amy knew Maria must be home and decided to look through the window.
The windows were frozen, so she breathed on the iced glass, and that's when she noticed Maria’s body on the floor.
The police suspect Amy is the murderer. Are they correct? (this one takes deductive skills)
{Spoiler Answer} Amy can’t possibly get a clear view of the room from outside. This is because it’s hard to unfreeze an iced glass by breathing as its opposite surface is usually icy too.

This is my guess for #4, sorry but the spoiler title didn't appear as I'd wanted... It would take quite a while to thaw frost off the glass from outside the house, and there would have still been a circle there if Amy had really been warming the window by blowing warm air onto it. If there was no circle or evidence of thawing/refreezing of a circle on the window, then Amy couldn't have only seen her friend's body from outside the home.

{Spoiler} Wouldn't the glass be more likely to shatter than thaw but I don't think you could get a look inside either way
