I have a free code, it didn't work, and I contacted CS. I'll wait to see what happens when they get back to me. Other than that, my free codes have always worked. The new site is clunky and finding games is...interesting. But I do keep a list of the series I'm playing so I know which game is next to buy and a list of single games I want. I find Steam's interface to be worse than this. It's downright awful to try to find anything on there.

galaxy, moni, way back in the ánnouncement threads...we got an answer that only 'credits'...in their system ie: gameclub credits would transferred to points. PCC's would no longer work or are valid...but replacement game credits like the ones you have (I had one too expiring Dec)..will be honored by BFG by writing (as you did) to CS and they will then be converted to points. I guess they didn't have a way of tracking those..'game not working' replacements. But they certainly promised to honor them..even though the codes associated with them won't work Soooo....eventuallllly....you should get those points added to your account. But gosh they must be super busy with the swap over...so let's see how good their ' best customer service' is!? LOL I too had to send an email regarding several different 'quotes' and emails regarding my membership (they sent three different prices lol)..the most expensive being the one actually on my 'next payment' due. I am not holding my breath regarding them getting back to me soon ..but it is a bummer when you have a CE equivalent that you can't use yet. I used mine on the 1st...because I just figured the code may not work after they said that..and I didn't want to wait. Good luck with it all. But they DID promise they would honor them. Cheers Mate

I know some don't like iwin but with them each time I buy a game I get 200 points towards my next game.

I contacted them regarding the fact that they gave me a free game the day before they stopped them and I have just received a credit of 699 points so they are honoring it, you just need to contact them.
On another topic I read that they will be removing the old forums, another pain in the butt as it is brilliant for old games to be able to check out help. Why can't they just leave it? Seems they just want to annoy us ?

I purchased today's game and received 2.09 dollars of credit which doesn't seem very fair compared to the new price
I downloaded the trial and clicked buy now which took me back to the checkout which says you already purchased the game. So now my 90 minute trial is on my GM with no way to activate my purchase
I know everyone is tired of me complaining about the GM glitch but geez, Bf revamped the whole system and took away the "classic view" yet they couldn't bother to fix an 8 year GM glitch and now they have screwed me royally ONCE AGAIN?

pennmom, now I want to buy the game and see what happens. I read up thread that people were having trouble with the Game Manager but mine was working fine. As for the website, the bookmark on my toolbar went to the page TWO designs ago. That's the one I started with and liked using. I hate change. LOL

Ah ha! I clicked on the download link in the email I got from Big Fish titled: Invoice for your Big Fish Games order and Bridge to Another World is now downloading the 1.6GB full game instead of the demo it downloaded from the purchase page. Am I making any sense?
Update: it worked to download from the email, I now have the full version on my Game Manager.

I deleted the demo and tried using the download link from the receipt and it didn't work I guess this tab is a good thing tho?...gonna have to ask for a refund of all my games if BF can't figure out how to allow me to download, I realize not many people have the 1404 GM glitch, but that's not my fault that they didn't accommodate those who do!

joybelle , it's hard to do what we did, I used to scroll down the page and look for games I missed playing but that's impossible now...where did they all go? Don't forget I STILL need a sales page to download games from because of my GM glitch! I'm confused. What do you mean Sales Page?
For me, never bought from GM. My steps were cart, then page to purchase.
So went and looked up error code 1404 and here is what BFG has to say.
This error can occur when there's some trouble installing a game from a large purchase history. There are some steps that can help:
Open the Big Fish Games App. Click Sign Out in the upper right corner. If one of the games showing the 1404 error is listed at all, click the trashcan icon to get rid of it. In the App click on PC Games. Use the search function to locate the game that that you just uninstalled. Click Play Now to download the free trial version of the game. Once the trial version is installed, click Buy. Since you've already purchased the game, you won't be charged for it again. The shopping cart should appear with the game on the right side, and a sign in box on the left. Make sure it says "I already have a Big Fish account" over the sign in box, enter in the email address for the account and its password, then click Sign In.
The game should now be installed and ready to play.
This 1404 glitch, knock on wood, had never happened to me. And here I thought I owned a lot of games. WOW, you must own a lot, I mean A LOT!

Just wanted to add since all this new has taken place I hope i don't have any problems.
I have my BFG GM and all my games on another computer which I keep off line. I don't have enough space to even download a small game left on it. It's 1TB. Will be moving them (once I figure out how to) someday to the new ED I have now which has 4TB and then will add Steam to it as well. Since I don't have to be online I always have the BFG GM turned off and find no reason to sign in at BFG anymore. Once you have them downloaded and activated they can't take them away from you. As long as what you have them on hold up. Random thought - I wonder after you have them downloaded and activated if you could transfer them to a CD and still be activated. There has to be a activation code somewhere on computer being used otherwise wouldn't be able to play them off line.
I'm sure everyone knows this already but throwing it out anyway. The first thing I did when I cancelled my membership with BFG was to adjust my account information BFG had access to. I took my credit card information out from my billing information.

patchesSorry patches, no clue where my reply ended up. Haven't spent much time in forums since The Pond. 1404 Appears when those of us who have more than 500 games (or maybe 800 or 900, for sure more than 1,000) try to access the GM Purchase History or upload a game to the GM that we purchased on the BF site, we get the 1404 error, which has nothing to do with the problem. We are unable to upload a site-purchased game and in fact, the GM gets so po'd that it will log you out and sometimes shut down. There's more, but that will give you an idea of the frustrations we encounter. I've sent the problem to BF over and over and over for the last 3 years, complete with screenshots and paths taken as instructed. Nada. The only solution available to us has been to upload the demo and then purchase it in the GM cart. If we want to replay a game, instead of uploading it from the site or the GM, we have to go to the game page, upload the demo, exit the demo and click on "Reactivate" at the bottom of the "Thank you for playing" app window. If we forget to do that, we have to "buy" the game at which time we are informed we have already purchased it, and click the blue "Activate" button we are shown. And from carefully reading the CS replies, I'm not the only one with the problem. I pray that this "drip update" system they are using will eventually work its way around to our game libraries. volauvent , let me add that when BF removes a game from it's catalog we have to ask pretty please for a special link (AND WAIT DAYS, USUALLY WEEKS, SOMETIMES NEVER FOR A RESPONSE FROM CS) because when there is no sales page for a discontinued game, those with the GM glitch can't re-download the game even though we purchased it. ...and No we cannot dl games from our purchase history OR game manager!

I would say I have closer to 800 games but not over from BFG. Maybe that is why haven't, knock on wood, had this problem. I didn't reach the amount that did it. Maybe a good thing haven't bought games from them for a few years.
I'm glad I already have all my games downloaded and activated on another computer. I went and checked to see some changes from BFG and when I went to the page that has my purchase history the top of page says Archived. What ever that means now. Checked out a few things which have been mentioned here and don't like any of the changes I have seen, at all. I'll never go back to BFG. Since the first selling nothing but down hill.

My PCC got converted to points and are in my account. Also, I have 675 games (holy cow, I had NO idea!) and I can activate them from the GM so I don't know if the number is higher, volauvent, or if BFG just likes me. lol

Now, I wonder, if this is a reply for my complaint, or they would've caught up with adding these points on my account anyways - There is no email reply for my complaint, so I don't know which scenario took place. Anyways, they did honor the game coupons. I will still cancel my membership - although I don't have any technical problems with my account, like many others here, but I still have problems with the new site and business model BFG is presenting.

Regarding yesterdays 'gameclub game'...CE HOPA. You can still access it it seems via just the banner heading and it does not appear on my main screen page. Those reviewers who have stated all the problems they have had with it got an actual response onscreen: (cut and paste) Response from Big Fish Games Big Fish, CS August 4, 2022 We’re sorry that you were impacted by this bug. The team is working on a fix now. In the meantime, please contact our Customer Support team for assistance. So good luck everyone..it seems the bugs are hit and miss on some and not others. But how unusual for BFG to post on the actual reviews?? Must have been a big problem?? **UPDATE: They have now put it up fully onscreen, so must have been actively working hard on it.

For those of us who were penalized for buying too many games, my friend sent me a work-around.to the work-around.
"The old system didn't work. It just told me to download or install the game. But I couldn't get it to run. So I went to the game manager but this time I clicked on "play" to play the trial and it promptly told me I already owned it and did I want to activate it."
Since there is nothing I want to buy, I have not tried it yet. I do hope this works as I pretty much just download my games when I want to play them so only have a few on my computer.
ETA: I did go try it. I didn't buy a game so just tried downloading one I had purchased earlier. but not played. It works! I DLed trial and played a couple minutes. Then I exited and got a screen saying I had 88 minutes of trial left. At the bottom of this pop-up in very small letters, it asked me if I wanted to activate. So, at least I know I can play my games.
