sandy, I've already tried that, played trial for a few minutes and then clicked buy but it takes me to the cart to repurchase the game, NO activation tab...may have worked if I hadn't already purchased the game?

Now, we can sort our search for games in alphabetical order (the sorting button didn't work yesterday) - whadayaknow, we may see more rays of sunshine as time passes. (purchase history is still by date, blah, but we need to appreciate for every little tweak. I am!)

Curiosity question: I've seen folks (somewhere on this or PF's forums) commenting on the posts on BFG's facebook page from BFG customers about the recent changes. But when I go there, I only see BFG's promos (on the Home tab), and if I go to the Community tab, the most recent post I see is from April 24, 2019. Where are folks seeing more recent facebook posts and what am I doing wrong? I got to their facebook page using the link on the bfg site, which took me to www.facebook.com/bigfishgames. Thanks for any enlightenment.

Is it just me or did their refund policy change?
My brother allowed me to get a game today but it didn't charge the sale price, It charged regular price $6.99 so be careful.

When I paid for a CE with cash I got 119 reward points back..it was onsale...so not full price Then I bought another CE using points...and got zero back. Does this mean we only get points on the cash parts of our purchases even if they are CE's??? But 799 is an SE PRICE..so did they give me basically a free game for purchasing two CE's (like the old days)..and they also took 799 points off the price as a freegame amount?? Well everything seems to be working ok for me, at last, even got a reply from BFG apologizing and saying I could buy extra credits, normally $10.95AU for $4.10AU, checked on the cost of subscription after seeing this and it has risen from $8.00AU to $10.95AU per month..so It was cancelled quick smart.

Be extra careful when buying games from Bigfish. I just bought Ultimate Mahjong off them (a game which they don't carry) so I have an e-mail into inertia. I'm trying to get a key off them.

Thanks for any enlightenment. If you ever read the Grumpy Old Ladies thread at PF, I've mentioned the explosion of angry posts on their FB page. A few are mine, and the rest are other people. It's to the point where someone started musing about a class-action lawsuit for people who are suddenly being charged for stuff they didn't buy, increased subscription prices with no warning (no chance to opt out before taking a hit on the credit card or paypal), having to buy a game twice, and numerous other problems. I even earned a "Top Fan" icon... obviously given for number of posts, not because I actually like BFG right now. You have to scroll waaaaaay down past all the promos to find the actual posts.

I will add that BFG is being insanely stupid about this. They posted on FB, referring to our many complaints as "feedback for future upgrades."
This resulted in even more anger, the common theme being, "We don't give a <censored> for future upgrades. We want you to fix THIS one."
I think Steam will gain a lot of new customers from this, so if culling the number of loyal customers was BFG's goal, they succeeded beyond their wildest expectations.

You know, I don't have a dog in this fight because I haven't been a BF member in a long time and I get most of my games from other places anyway. I also have been able since the update, at least so far, to download old BF games from my game manager which, at least so far, does not suffer from the Horrible Pennmom Glitch. They should name it in your honor. But I decided to go take a look and see what was going on. I found this tacked to several game reviews including pennmom,
WTF?!?!?! A bug?!?!? It sneaked in because someone left a window open? Spies from Gamehouse hacked their server?
Shouldn't this read: SMH!

Well see nothing has changed since my short weekend away (why am I not surprised). Really was looking forward to a new FF game but am still afraid to try to purchase.

pennmom , try this. download your game, and go to your purchase history (look for your game) in game manager and and click activate. I activated a few games like that. I appreciate the suggestion, but joybelle is correct, the glitch affects the purchase history from working, if I click on a game from the P-H on the website nothing happens, it won't prompt the DL no matter how many times I click and sometimes it just logs me out of my account.
If I click on Purchase History via my game manager it will log me out of my account instantly and sometimes it glitches several times, I'll sign in and I'll hear the bloop noise it makes when signing in, then it gets angry and punishes me for the attempt and immediately logs back out, it may take 7-8 try's to get it to stay logged in so most of us 1404ers don't EVER attempt accessing the PH! NNNNOOOOOOOOOoooooo not ever!
So you can see how complicated this scenario is for us, we can't ever see a list of our purchased games and BF has refused my requests (several requests) to print me out a list of all my purchased games with download links. I can request a link if I want to play a particular game that has been removed from the website, but this is a process that could take BF weeks, first you submit a ticket, then you wait 72 hours for a response, then the CS agent is usually clueless about the glitch and it takes 2-3 email correspondences to finally get them to understand how the glitch works, then they hand the case over to Tim who takes another week to respond with the link...by then I usually don't care about playing the game anymore (you know how you get in a mood for a solitaire game one day or a Match 3 game the next)
Not to mention the fact that when BF removes a game from the website (my only method of accessing a purchased game) I have no way of knowing which games are removed...I have no idea which games I purchased unless I go down the list and click buy now so it can tell me if I already own the game...and now that convenient list in alphabetical order from the Classic Site is gone!!!
I have yet to receive a single CS response so I will be pursuing a refund for every purchased game I own, if they can't bother to even shoot me a single message to say they are trying to work on this issue I would be more willing to be patient but it will be 1 week tomorrow and none of my cries for help have been responded to by anyone at BF including Tim who is supposed to be my liaison for this issue

Hello, new forum member here. I came over because I saw a link in one of the game reviews at BigFish. I became a Game Club member in 2018, but I just cancelled my membership. Everything worked for me on the new site. I definitely don't own as many games as some of you do, so I didn't run into any bugs due to that. I was able to buy a couple of games on the weekend and my game manager shows me all my purchased games.
But...I live in Canada, and the price of the game club went up with no notice. I believe the price went up for everyone outside the U.S. And, of course, the price of the games themselves also went up. I didn't appreciate that in the months leading up the changes, BF didn't mention the price increases once.
Recently, I've been mainly buying BF games on Steam. It seems to be getting most of the new games. I was already considering cancelling game club because I wasn't buying enough games at BF to justify it. This just pushed me over the edge.
I wasn't aware of GameHouse, Wild Tangent, or iWin. If I run out of games on Steam, I'll definitely consider subscribing to one of those. I'm concerned that so many of the developers have abandoned HOPAs for mobile games. It seems like only Domini (or Do) and Elephant Games are still creating HOPAs. There are more companies doing straight up HOGs (no stories, just HOG scenes and simple puzzles), but I only enjoy those in moderation. Just finding hidden objects gets boring for me after a while.
Anyway, I hope everyone having problems at BF gets them resolved soon.
